Former President Donald Trump had not yet weighed in on Senator Tommy Tuberville’s battle against Joe Biden’s military abortion funding yet, but has has now. In a new post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said he supports Tuberville’s holds on military promotions and nominations in response to Biden’s illegal abortion travel policy.
Under the policy, which is in violation of 10 U.S.C. 1093 , members of the military are getting paid leave funded at taxpayer expense to go to other states to have abortions that kill their babies. Biden’s policy funds abortion travel up to birth.
After insisting for months that Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville was solely responsible for the delay in approving senior military promotions, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer finally folded Wednesday and began to set up votes on three military officers.
