The wife of suspected Long Island serial killer Rex Heuermann filed for divorce Wednesday — the same day new photos of her surfaced.
Asa Ellerup, 59 , the accused killer’s “shocked” and “disgusted” wife, filed a matrimonial complaint in Suffolk County Supreme Court against her embattled husband of more than 20 years, online court records show.
Under New York state law, all filings in divorce proceedings are sealed from public scrutiny, but the cases and parties’ names are docketed and posted.
Asa Ellerup v.
