Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has fallen to his lowest level of support in the Republican primary this year in the Quinnipiac University survey.
While former President Donald Trump came in as the clear frontrunner with 57%, the governor came in second with 18% support, marking his lowest primary level of support in 2023 in that metric, The Hill reported . Tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy took third place with 5% support while former Vice President Mike Pence received 4% support.
Conducted between Aug. 10-14, the survey questioned 681 Republican and Republican-leaning voters and has a margin of error of +/- 3.4%.
