Mayor Arunan Arulampalam (D) of Hartford, Connecticut, has condemned the predominately black community for organizing a self-defense group to combat violent crime in their neighborhood.
As reported by the New York Post , approximately 40 residents have formed the “Self-Defense Brigade” and have taken to patrolling the streets at night, using drones to monitor homes and businesses for potential threats.
Christian Gold Company CEO: “It Makes a Difference WHO You Work With” The brigade’s founder, Cornell Lewis, expressed to FOX News that the Democrat-led city government has failed to address the growing violence in their community, stating, “The Democrat machine in Hartford is either unwilling or unable, incapable, of doing it, and people are paying their tax dollars, and they’re not really getting any kind of service. So we want the people to understand, number one, self-defense is not a dirty word.”
