As the Biden administration persists in advocating for more gun control, Vice President Kamala Harris earned pushback on social media for advocating for an “assault weapons ban.”
“Weapons of war have no place on the streets of a civil society. Congress must pass an assault weapons ban. President Biden will sign it,” Harris tweeted .
Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky responded by claiming that Harris wants government agencies — but not the American public at large — to possess those firearms.
“Your body guards, and dozens of ‘civil’ agencies like the USDA, the US Dept. of Ed., and the EPA possess the firearms you are calling weapons of war.
