House Oversight Chairman James Comer , R-Ky., issued subpoenas for the personal bank records of Hunter Biden and his uncle James Biden as part of House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, the New York Post reported .
Following his committee’s bombshell findings that Hunter wired hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Chinese company to his father’s Delaware residence in 2019 while he was living in California, Comer argued it is clear Joe Biden played a role in his son’s foreign business dealings.
The Kentucky Republican said he hopes the bank records he is subpoenaing will prove Joe Biden’s connections.
