Monero is the most mature and widely-recognized privacy cryptocurrency, meaning that its blockchain does not readily reveal wallet IDs (unlike with Bitcoin), so that users’ transactions remain hidden. This is achieved through clever protocols such as “ring signatures” and other algorithms that are far beyond the scope of this announcement.
