Trump tops the pack of 2024 GOP contenders in the latest polling out of Ohio, but second place shows Vivek Ramaswamy ahead of Ron DeSantis .
The tech entrepreneur and Florida governor secured second and third place, respectively, while Trump ‘s lead remains strong and steady.
The poll found that the majority of Republicans, 64.1 percent, support Trump. The next closest, Ramaswamy, garnered 11.8 percent of the vote, while DeSantis eked out 8.7 percent. The remaining GOP candidates all hovered between 0 and 6 percent.In a hypothetical matchup between Biden and Trump, the former president came out victorious by a vote of 49.1 percent to 39 percent.
