Biden on Friday delivered a speech at a middle school in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, telling the crowd that the CNN debate on June 27 wasn’t his “best performance.” He declared that he thought he could beat Donald Trump again in 2024 despite increasing calls for Biden to end his campaign from Democrats.
“You probably heard, we had a little debate last week. I can’t say it was my best performance,” Biden told the crowd, which was met with shouts of “we love you Joe” and “It’s okay.”
“But ever since then there’s been a lot of speculation: what’s Joe gonna do? Is he gonna stay in the race? Is he gonna drop out? What’s he gonna do? Well, here’s my answer: I am running and gonna win again.”
