After former President Donald Trump took his message to over 80,000 voters in Wildwood , New Jersey, President Biden revealed plans to host fundraisers with Hollywood elites this summer. In a video from NBC’s Meet the Press, Host Kristen Welker and NBC White House correspondent Monica Alba discussed the president’s challenges with diminishing support and how they will combat the diminishing “cash advantage” held by the DNC.
Alba said, “For a long time the Democrats and the DNC have had the cash advantage.” She noted, “That’s about to look very different for Republicans with former President Trump and the RNC, now that he has clinched the nomination, they can fundraise differently.”
Alba went on to suggest that the Biden camp was preparing to use “star power” to boost its efforts to raise money.
