Biden-Harris Administration Paid Consultants Millions for Advice to Advance DEI in Military

The Defense Department under the Biden-Harris administration has spent millions of dollars paid to outside organizations to advance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and initiatives in the U.S. military.

Evidence of the extent of this practice has come forth in the form of documents first obtained by the Functional Government Initiative (FGI) and reported by The Daily Wire. They reveal “the extent of the Pentagon’s efforts to embed leftwing, race-based ideology in the military, in partnership with academic institutions and consulting firms,” according to the outlet.

These organizations were paid “to set up hiring pipelines that gave candidates preferential treatment on the basis of race and sex, advise the government agency on DEI policy, and combat internal and external resistance to said policies.”

These practices have been going on throughout the various agencies and departments in the Biden-Harris administration. This is just the latest evidence of their commitment to DEI and it highlights how this ideological focus can harm military readiness and recruitment and retention goals.
