LA Premiere Of Netflix’s “Murder Mystery” – Arrivals Actor and comedian Rob Schneider said during an interview Wednesday morning that he left the Democratic Party because of how they want to meddle in every aspect of people’s lives and because they are becoming more and more extreme in their views.
Schneider made the remarks during a Fox News interview on “FOX & friends” that started off by getting his reaction on former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s (D-HI) decision to leave the Democratic Party.
“It shouldn’t be such a shock. We don’t get ten parties, you get two. And I really feel like I don’t want the Democratic Party trying to run my life,” he said. “And there’s not one aspect of your life that they don’t want to interfere with. So I had it with them. So I got out of California and moved to the slightly freer state of Arizona.”
When asked about what changed his mind about the party, Schneider said it was “taxes,” among many other things.
