DEVELOPING STORY: A number of protesters were arrested MONDAY NIGHT at a Burger King in Brooklyn after they refused to show store workers vaccination papers. Watch video of the protests below.
“If you decide to hold the line, you must go down non-violently,” one of the protest organizers said.
Police then began handcuffing patrons who declined to show their government papers.
“This is not right gentlemen,” the man told police officers.
Earlier today New York City implemented the nation’s strongest mandate policies. Employers must ensure that all employees are vaccinated. And all New Yorkers over the age of 12 are required to show proof of at least two vaccine doses to enter most indoor venues.This is the boldest action in the nation,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said earlier this month. “It is very, very consistent with what we’re dealing with right now because we have new threats, powerful new threats we have to answer.
