Jim Lo Scalzo/Pool via AP Dr. Anthony Fauci hit the Sunday shows today, mostly to talk about the new COVID variant and stoke more fear about what it might entail. Fauci — who apparently thinks he’s a dictator — told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos that while they didn’t know what the new variant yet, he wasn’t ruling out that there might be more lockdowns in the future.
“Prepare for the worst,” he said. “But you want to be prepared to do anything and everything.”
As if they hadn’t already done so “anything and everything” to us already. Here we go again. While he said he had spoken to the South Africans about the new variant, he said we don’t know what the severity was yet. He didn’t mention that they had said that the cases they had found so far were “extremely mild.” Funny how he left that part out.
