The life Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have chosen to live is not one that will get them positive headlines in the press. These are heroes, but today’s political atmosphere has turned many Americans against them as they try to do the extremely important job of investigating and apprehending alleged criminals who have found a home in the United States. The glory they receive is personal. The rewards are not handed out by the press.
This video from ICE takes us through the journey of one suspected murderer from the night he committed the crime to his entry into the United States. It then follows ICE agents as they plan and enact his capture. From there, we get to see what happens along the way until Martires Molvan-Figeureo is eventually handed over to Dominican authorities by Enforcement and Removal Operations officers.
Molvan-Figeureo is a former Dominican National Police who shot and killed a man who was resisting arrest. He was convicted and sentenced to 20-years in prison before fleeing to the United States. He was repatriated in 2017.
There are few jobs more dangerous than being an ICE officer, yet their important work is often panned by radical progressives who want criminal illegal aliens to be left to roam the United States freely. ICE officers deserve our thanks and respect.
