CNN loves to use anonymous sources. They often follow the breadcrumbs left by conspiratorial sources. Sometimes, they even run with stories from questionable sources. But what they haven’t been known for in recent years is using reliable sources. If a source is reliable, they’re probably not wasting their time with CNN.
This is why it’s so ironic that host Brian Stelter’s show is called, “Reliable Sources.” He’s had noteworthy people on his show like John Brennan, Michael Avenatti, and Andrew McCabe. In fact, his sources are often some of the least reliable allowed on television.
That has become CNN’s shtick ever since the 2016 election. Prior to then, they were mildly unhinged but confident Hillary Clinton would prevail. When they were proven wrong, they made the collective decision to lead the way on building and promoting fake news hit pieces to discredit the President and harm the GOP. But their efforts have done nothing but brought shame and failure to their once-proud network.
Conservative firebrand Dan Bongino made a joke on Twitter at Stelter’s expense.
One of the great mysteries of our time is how Brian Stelter’s show came to be titled “Reliable Sources.” 🤔

As long as CNN and other progressive news outlets bend to their Trump Derangement Syndrome instead of focusing on real news, they’re they’re going to continue their downward spiral in both ratings and attachment to reality.
