Why Bernie Sanders failed so hard this time

Why Bernie Sanders failed so hard this time

Elizabeth Warren is the new Bernie Sanders. Mark it down. Sanders will be out of the race before the Iowa caucus even though he won it in 2016. Why? Because he was replaced by a younger, sleeker model.

But there’s much more to the story of the Sanders 2020 failure than just another radical progressive using the same basic talking points. Warren is something that Sanders is not. In fact, Warren has the one piece to the puzzle that Sanders has always lacked. He’s an old white straight male.

Elizabeth Warren female and will therefore beat Sanders for the radical progressive votes. It’s as simple as that.

In fact, it’s already happening.

Bernie Sanders South Carolina crowd size one-third of Elizabeth Warren’s

Campaign events by Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, competing for voters on the Left flank of the 2020 Democratic primary field, proved a study in contrasts this weekend as far as crowd sizes are concerned.

Nearly 300 people attended a Sanders town hall in Columbia on Saturday, while over 900 showed up to see Warren in Aiken the day before.

It was conspicuous that Eric Swalwell, Cory Booker, and other male candidates declared they would have a female running-mate long before they ever were a blip on the polling radar. They’re reading the tea leaves, seeing the writing on the wall, and realizing this version of the Democratic Party values intersectionality more than anything else. If a lesbian minority non-Christian ran this election cycle and had an ounce of personality, she would have run away with the nomination. But today, one must pick their favored intersectional characteristic since nobody possess all of them.

Do they go with minority female Kamala Harris? Gay male Pete Buttigieg? Minority political outsider Andrew Yang? It seems like most are picking the same card that beat Bernie in 2016. The Democrats want a female, and even though Warren is Caucasian (plus 1/1024 Cherokee!), she has the advantage of advancing the Sanders agenda and at times doubling down on it. Harris is trying to do the same, but she’s a mess. She can recover, but her bouncing policies are not as endearing as Warren’s strict adherence to radicalism-at-all-costs. And by “all costs,” I mean ALL costs… to everyone.

Despite being 1-2 in the polls from the beginning, neither Joe Biden nor Bernie Sanders have a chance of getting the nomination. The new Democratic Party will not nominate an old white male because they’re neither racist nor sexist. Ironic.

Candace Owens: ‘Leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America’

Candace Owens Leftists and Democrats dont want to see these issues fixed in black America

Speaking before Congress today, conservative activist Candace Owens detailed some of the real problems black citizens are facing in America today. She considers “white nationalism” to be a problem that wouldn’t make her top-100 list of actual issues harming African-Americans and their communities.

What she DOES consider to be huge problems include the deterioration of the family as our welfare system encourages women to remain single mothers, knowing their income from the government would be cut if they were to marry the father of their children. Gun violence is a real problem, but it’s a problem that comes back to gun control areas such as Chicago in which so many black Americans are killed by gun-wielding criminals while law abiding citizens are not allowed to protect themselves.

She looks to the education system that keeps African-American youths from receiving their proper education. And she turned to the policies of Democrats who seem to view African-Americans as a base of voters who must be exploited by indoctrinating them into the notion they’re being persecuted by white nationalists in the GOP.

Owens noted that “leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America because then they can’t stomp on those issues.”

It’s clear that Democrats spread lies intent on making minorities believe they’re the party that will help them when invariably their policies are the ones that actually oppress the masses. Marxism’s roots in racism are flourishing in leftist America.

Bill de Blasio drops out

Bill de Blasio drops out

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s short-lived presidential campaign came to an end Friday morning. He dropped his campaign that had been going nowhere from the start, hitting peak failure when he was unable to meet the criteria to attend the third Democratic debate.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the Mayor declared his campaign was over.

Even NBC sent him off with a zinger:

De Blasio’s bid — launched in May — ultimately lasted just over four months and was largely mocked for most of its short life.

“I feel like I have contributed all I can to this primary election. It’s clearly not my time, so I’m going to end my presidential campaign,” de Blasio said.

There’s no need to lament or further criticize the mayor. He tried. He failed. Time to move on. The real question is which failing candidate is going to drop out next? (Please let it be Beto, please let it be Beto).

Leon Cooperman on stock market’s reaction to an Elizabeth Warren presidency

Leon Cooperman on stock market's reaction to an Elizabeth Warren presidency

Leon Cooperman knows a thing or two about the stock market. The billionaire hedge fund manager has worked the market for decades. As founder of Omega Advisors, he doesn’t just move his own money around the stock market. He invests for others as well. When it comes to the market, people listen to Leon Cooperman.

They should be listening when he discusses the prospects of a Democrat in the White House and the implications of their policies, which he noted are heading further to the left.

“The Democratic Party seems to be leaning towards the left on policies, which is very harmful for the economy. I don’t like the shift to the left,” he explained to CNBC, adding that the market, of course, will open, but it won’t be pretty.

He also said something else profound…

“It would be a bear market and they go on for a year and go down 25%,” he said. “You don’t make the poor people rich by making rich people poor.”

But the best quote pertained to one of the frontrunners directly, Elizabeth Warren.

“They won’t open the stock market if Elizabeth Warren is the next president,” he quipped.

It may not be THAT bad, but it might as well be. With the radical progressives’ push for Modern Monetary Theory, the economy as we know it would evaporate like a puddle in the desert.
