Why isn’t gun control considered to be sexist as well as racist?

Published

Liberty [Gun] Control is rooted in racism. It also adversely affects women. Why isn’t it considered to be racist and sexist?

A recent video from One America News Network entitled: ‘Gun Rights Are Women’s Rights’ made this very important point on the topic of Liberty Control. The basic facts of science have one sex at a disadvantage to the other, with guns being the great equalizer.

Why doesn’t the Left have to answer for the sexism and racism of Liberty control?

These days, the national socialist Left wields pejoratives Racism and Sexism like an assault weapon. So why aren’t these labels applied to them for their incessant attacks against freedom? Firearms are the great equalizers, with the Left’s gun confiscation agenda having a disproportionate effect on women and minorities.  Somehow the Left escapes these facts being applied to them, while they exploit those words with abandon.

We’ve already detailed the racism aspect of this issue here, and case for Liberty control being sexist made in this video.

Why the gun is civilization..

We will wrap this up with a column written in 2007 by Marko Kloos on a WordPress blogging site the Munchkin wrangler. It encapsulates the issue of firearms down to one proposition on how human being deal with each other.

MARCH 23, 2007 by MARKO KLOOS
Why the gun is civilization.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that’s it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force. The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gangbanger, and a single gay guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat–it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed. People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weightlifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation…and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

Before and after footage of homeless camp after Scott Presler’s team cleaned it is shocking

Before and after footage of homeless camp after Scott Preslers team cleaned it is shocking

When conservative activist Scott Presler sees a mess, he has a natural tendency to want to clean it up. And as he travels to Democrat-controlled cities from coast to coast, he’s finding a ton of trash being left to the wind by the cities. The last two cleanups were in Baltimore. This month, it’s Los Angeles.

He and his team of conservative volunteers donned protective gear (there are needles, rodents, and other dangers ever-present in trash heaps) and went to work on cleaning a homeless camp in a Los Angeles suburb, Van Nuys. There was so much trash, it looked like it would take a small army to get it done after years of being ignored by Los Angeles officials. His early estimates stated there was over 30 tons of trash.

“With over 200 volunteers, we picked up 50 tons of trash in 9 hours,” Presler said.

The Twitter star, known as #ThePersistence (a play on the popular “#Resistance” hashtag used by Democrats and Never-Trumpers), has drawn praise from the right who appreciate the tremendous efforts and criticism from the left who believe it’s all just a publicity stunt. If this were all for publicity, there are easier (and cleaner) ways to draw attention than by spending days in the hot sun picking up other people’s garbage for free.

But the before and after videos show the work was well worth it.

After Presler Tweeted a video of his team getting started Saturday morning, Fox News host Laura Ingraham called for federal assistance to tackle the growing homelessness and drug abuse problems in America, particularly in cities like Los Angeles.

It’s a point Presler has been making for months. Why is so much attention paid by Democrats on living conditions for illegal immigrants when American citizens are literally living in garbage?

When all was said and done, Pressler’s team eclipsed their Baltimore efforts which cleaned up 19 tons of trash to leave an area clean that once held 50 tons of trash.

When asked about his motivations, Presler said, “The highlight of the day was when a homeless woman said to me, ‘Thank you for keeping your promise.'”

Indeed, he did.

His next promise is to return to Baltimore for a third round of cleanup there on October 5th.

We often sit at our keyboards and complain about things needing to be done. By following Scott Presler’s example, conservatives came together to rid an area of Los Angeles of 50 tons of dangerous trash. As Presler says, #StopTalkingStartDoing.

Allen West: ‘America and Texas need victors… not victims’

Allen West America and Texas need victors not victims

One of the many reasons we endorsed Lt. Col. Allen West for Texas Republican Chair is because he represents something that is desperately needed in the ranks of the GOP: Courage. The party has been infiltrated by too many “leaders” who are feckless and unimaginative. They promote business as usual, cutting deals behind closed doors with progressives that do not promote the Constitutional conservatism this nation desperately needs.

So much attention is being paid to the national side of politics. Many Republicans watch the Democratic debates to laugh and gather ammunition against the eventual nominee, but fewer are focused on the state and local government that are the cornerstone of both limited-government federalism and proper Constitutional conservatism. As we push forward with the American Conservative Movement, we do so knowing that there must be a return of focus within the GOP on localized government where real action can be taken.

Government starts with the individual. We, as Americans, are the highest level of government, followed by local, city, county, state, and finally the safety net at the bottom, the federal government. That is how it was always supposed to be. It wasn’t until DC’s ongoing power grab started panning federalism that the power of the individual was diminished.

We don’t need panderers in DC or deal-makers/breakers at the state level. We need real leaders to represent our interest. America and Texas need Lt. Col. Allen West to make the Lone Star State a bright shade of red once again.

“Texas and America need statesmen and women who tell the people what they need to hear… as opposed to politicians who tell the people what they think they want to hear. I seek to restore the right relationship between the sovereignty of the individual citizen and the institution of government. And, in doing so, restore the honor of our Constitutional Republic, and its greatest state, the Lone Star State of Texas. America and Texas need victors… not victims.” – Lt. Col. Allen West

Bold, aggressive leadership is desperately needed in Texas. As the Lone Star State goes, so too does the entire GOP. Democrats want to turn it blue and state GOP leaders aren’t stopping them. Lt. Col. Allen West will get the job done.

Gun control will be a litmus test for RINOs to primary in 2020

Gun control will be a litmus test for RINOs to primary in 2020

Gun control is a hot topic. Nearly the entirety of the modern day Democratic Party wants gun control measures in place at the local, state, or national level that they influence. This has been and always will be one of the main reasons conservatives vote for Republicans – as a shield against the gun-grabbers.

But today, many Republican lawmakers are leaning towards “common sense” gun control measures. Whether it’s universal background checks that lead to a national gun registry, red flag gun laws that sidestep due process, or outright gun bans that will turn hundreds of thousands of law-abiding citizens into criminals if they are unwilling to give up their rights, the attacks against the 2nd Amendment are growing in scope and scale.

We will be watching very closely at how Republican politicians discuss and vote in regards to gun control measures. It’s a litmus test; either they are willing to defend the 2nd Amendment or they are betraying their oath to protect the Constitution.

As the American Conservative Movement inches closer to officially launching, we will use this litmus test and a feasibility analysis to determine which RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) are poised for a Constitutional conservative challenger in their next election. We must be pragmatic about this. There’s no reason to invest in primary battles that have no chance. But if a lawmaker favors gun control and is vulnerable, we will go on the attack.

This is, of course, secondary to the primary goal of removing progressives from office. Like a political Hippocratic Oath, we will not do harm to the republic by bolstering a progressive candidate against a moderate Republican. If it isn’t feasible to replace a RINO with a Constitutional conservative who will win the general election, we will direct our efforts elsewhere. Gun control is a litmus test, not an ironclad call for immediate opposition.

We will not repeat the mistakes of those who came before us, who occasionally did so much harm to the Republican they tried to primary that they ended up helping a Democrat take over the position. We will also not attack for the sake of attacking. If we are unable to find a viable candidate to replace the RINO, then we’ll move on and search harder next election.

Installing Constitutional conservatives into the halls of government requires a systematic approach. Gun control will help us identify targets. Realistic yet passionate grassroots efforts will help us push the right people into office.
