The beauty queen who was robbed of her title for being conservative has been rewarded to sticking to her values and supporting the Trump administration. University of Michigan student Kathy Zhu has officially joined Women for Trump, an important part of President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign.
I am so excited to now be part of the #WomenforTrump Coalition Advisory Board!
Let’s get Trump re-elected for 2020 🇺🇸😁 https://t.co/uhdBfdInlh

The Chinese-American activist has been in the news for the past week for having her Miss Michigan title stripped after resurfaced Tweets depicting her as a racist. Her Tweets, which called out a “Wear a Hijab” booth at her school and who noted most African-American deaths were at the hands of other African-Americans, have been deleted. But screenshots were sent to pageant officials, who contacted her to let her know they were disassociating with her completely.
Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign will focus in large part on securing the votes of conservative women who do not buy into the narrative that the President proposes policies that hurt them. But Zhu represents minorities as well, and with recent false accusations of racism plaguing the President, it’s important for minorities who support him to play active roles in his campaign.
Part of the message has to focus on minorities who are experiencing unprecedented prosperity in America. Joblessness is at historic lows for both African- and Hispanic-Americans. Equality has never been more prevalent despite claims by Democrats of inequality that seem to defy logic. Racism does seem to be on the rise, but anecdotally it seems to be coming more from Democrats and their policies, such as opposition to voter ID, than from members of the Trump administration or the President himself.
But this narrative is going to continue. The media and the Democrats need the people to believe the President is misogynistic and racist in order to overcome the tremendous benefits that have come from his presidency. They can’t deny the facts (well, the still try sometimes) so they must redirect and jam the population into believing their other lies. They want a world driven by feelings instead of facts. This is why Zhu joining the campaign is big news.

The Trump campaign is quickly becoming one of inclusion and embracing the values that have helped so many Americans overcome hardship in the last three years. Adding Kathy Zhu to the team is a win for Team Trump.
