The 2020 election is going to be the first in our history in which the forces that influence a huge chunk of the vote are unambiguously favoring Democrats. Even in 2016, tech giants like Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter at least pretended to be unbiased. From now until election day, they are willing to let go of their false facade in a concerted effort to take down President Trump and remove as many Republicans from office as possible.
This removal of the veils for both big tech and legacy media (which dropped their own facades in 2016) is not a positive thing. The informed minority may be aware of this reality, but a majority of Americans still go about their daily business not realizing just how tilted the tech giants are against Republicans. We must continue to spread the word about it, but we cannot rely on the message getting through as our only plan of attack. Now is the time to start rallying behind one of the most important aspects of American conservatism: the truth.
In any other presidential election year, 2020 would be a repeat of 1984 (the election, not the book). The booming economy combined with obvious obstruction by Democrats on securing our southern border should translate into a landslide win for President Trump and a massive reversal of the losses we had in Congress during the midterm elections. Unemployment, particularly for minorities, is at an all-time low. Prosperity is at a high, so much so that progressive activists seem to be blessed with all the free time in the world to have their protests and condemn the nation that allows them to do such things. It’s funny how freedom works, but it’s sad that those who benefit from it are often so blinded to reality they feel the need to protest it.
We must go into the 2020 election with three goals: getting conservatives to replace moderate RINOs, securing majorities in both chambers of Congress, and making sure whatever socialist the Democrats nominate gets absolutely obliterated by President Trump. This is a fight for the soul of the nation, so simply winning isn’t enough. We have to make them lose so badly moderate Democrats will never allow the radicalization of their party to happen again.
Our first stage in launching the American Conservative Movement us nearly complete. We need to reach a tipping point of interested patriots so when we officially break open the movement, we can hit the ground running. This is step one: get at least 5000 people to be charter members of the movement. To do this, we must continue spreading the word. All articles on NOQ Report have the ACM signup form at the bottom.
Some have asked where to send donations. We are not accepting contributions yet. We must form the base before a single penny is invested into the movement. The ACM cannot go down the road of failure that doomed the Tea Party and other conservative organizations. The mistakes of the past are on our map as pitfalls to avoid. No offense to the patriots who started the Tea Party, but they didn’t build it with longevity in mind. The American Conservative Movement must be effective in both the immediate future and long-term or else we’ll lose ground just as quickly as we gain it.
At this stage, the most important contribution anyone can make is to promote awareness. We are going to build based on our three goals listed above. That should be enough for patriots to decide whether or not they are interested in learning more in the future.
Complacency is the enemy of conservatism. We know we’re right. We know we have the truth on our side. But we cannot afford to assume misinformed voters bombarded by leftist media will see it. We must act aggressively now and going forward.
We are currently forming the American Conservative Movement. If you are interested in learning more, we will be sending out information in a few weeks.
