Update: After 12 hours, the account was finally suspended.
Over the last few months, we’ve seen conservatives banned or suspended on Twitter in record time, especially if they’re a “blue checkmark” verified account. It usually only takes a couple of hours from the point that a conservative makes a joke about Elizabeth Warren’s false heritage or tells people to learn to code. Sometimes, it happens in mere minutes.
But a verified Twitter user who decided to Tweet about killing Jews has had his Tweet stay up for half-a-day without any action by Twitter despite dozens of claims of the post being reported. If dozens are claiming to report it, certainly hundreds have.
And yet it persists as of the posting of this article, 10 hours after the Tweet went live.
It may be too much to assume the Tweet will be deleted or the account suspended, but just in case, we have the screenshot above. The reason I don’t know for sure if something so clearly anti-Semitic and threatening will be deleted is because Egyptian actor Hesham Mansour has been Tweeting like this for ages. Scans of his account reveal an unabashed anti-Semitism. If the things he said about Jews were said about any other religious group other than Christian, the account would be gone. But going after Jews and Christians is okay on Twitter.
Here’s the sad part, and I’m not saying this to be bitter, but my account was banned for much less crimes. I didn’t go after a religious group or minority. I didn’t spread hatred or make threats. I had the gall to call a boy pretending to be a girl… wait for it… a boy pretending to be a girl. Keep in mind, this wasn’t an adult who had gone through transition. This was an 8-year-old who I apparently offended.

The disparity of what Twitter considers “hate speech” by conservatives and actual hate speech by others is insulting. How long will this threatening post stay live? My money would be on “forever.” After all, he didn’t threaten anyone accepted by Twitter.
We are currently forming the American Conservative Movement. If you are interested in learning more, we will be sending out information in a few weeks.
