President Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden were both in Iowa today. They were both attacking each other. As far as they’re both concerned, the Democratic primary is a formality and the only two men in the race to spend a significant amount of time in the Oval Office will be head-to-head next November.
We might as well get the fireworks started now.
Biden called the President an “existential threat” to the nation. It’s an odd choice of attacks since this isn’t the first election for the President. He’s already in office. One would think if he were really an existential threat we would have already seen it manifest in the past 2.5 years. Instead, we’re seeing increased prosperity. If it’s true, then President Trump is failing miserably at being an existential threat. The country is heading in the right direction.
Meanwhile, the President fired back by declaring Biden as the guy he’d most like to run against. He’s the “weakest mentally,” according to the President, and he loves going up against people who are weak-minded.
The Democrats may believe they have choices right now, but as far as Biden and Trump are concerned, the general election might as well have already started. Sleepy Joe already seems like he needs a nap.
