In retrospect, I should have anticipated the Democrats’ response to the unambiguously amazing news that Mexico agreed to partner with the United States to stop illegal immigration across our southern border. The President threatened to impose tariffs on Mexico, forcing Mexico to finally do more than deliver lip service on the issue.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi invoked one of her favorite phrases when referring to Trump: “temper tantrum.”
“President Trump undermined America’s preeminent leadership role in the world by recklessly threatening to impose tariffs on our close friend and neighbor to the south,” she said in a statement. “Threats and temper tantrums are no way to negotiate foreign policy.”
This has been the go-to phrase for Democrats and mainstream media any time the President plays hardball, especially when it works. They realize there’s no way to spni the results of his actions, so they must condemn him for his tactics. It’s disingenuous, especially when considering the Democrats have recommended tariffs on Mexico in the past.
Starting on Monday, you will see a concerted effort by Democrats and their media lapdogs to change the subject. They don’t have a positive message for the country and they cannot allow the President to have a win, so their smokescreens of investigations, subpoenas, and contempt votes against White House figures will be ramped up next week.
They’ll do whatever they can to keep Americans in the dark about the progress the President is making.
It’s imperative that conservatives help spread the word about this win. We cannot assume the message will get out to the people. Mainstream media is using headlines like this one to spin the Mexican deal as a negative. This is why I’m constantly asking for donations to help us get the word out of the masses.
The only way to counter the lies of the Democrats and mainstream media is to push the truth forward to as many people as possible. The President had a huge win for America. The people need to know.
We are currently forming the American Conservative Movement. If you are interested in learning more, we will be sending out information in a few weeks.
