Those who have read Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky can recognize certain traits most officials in the Democratic Party and even a handful in the Republican Party like to employ to get their message to the masses. But it’s not just about getting out a false narrative. It’s about jamming in a way that makes the message stick. This is why we’re seeing so many Democrats complaining about the border crisis.
One will notice in reading the Tweets, hearing the soundbites, and reading the quotes from Democrats that they’re extraordinarily selective and carefully manipulative about the problems they highlight. If something can be blamed, at least on the surface, on White House policies, they’re all in. If something hints at problems created by the left’s unwillingness to address the real issues at the border, they’re eerily silent.
But even many of their complaints are directly due to the Democrats’ own policies even if they can be tangentially connected to the White House. Case-in-point: Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s latest spin job.
How is it possible 3 people died in @DHSgov custody in just 3 days?
That’s on top of the 6 children who have died since December. No child had died for 10 years before.
That is unacceptable. It cannot continue. And it must be investigated immediately.https://t.co/4Q4UIbgFIS

Schumer is quick to condemn border patrol, but what he nor CNN mentions is the fact that the problems they assign to the President are all direct results of Democratic policies. Yes, people are dying in border patrol custody because Congress failed to supply the necessary resources to deal with the problem at hand, and that was BEFORE the crisis ramped up in recent months. They capped the number of beds border patrol can use for migrants regardless of how many of them cross the border.
But Schumer won’t ever mention that inconvenient fact.
Then, there’s the reason so many are coming in the first place. We can attribute some of their motivation to the lack of the wall, which is a common talking point by Republicans. But it’s actually much more complex. There are multiple issues, the top one being the broken asylum laws that were never intended to handle the sheer mass of humanity coming across the border illegally and claiming asylum. They do this knowing they will be released to the interior. They do this knowing once they’re released, they won’t have to show up for their asylum hearing as long as they can disappear into the various safe havens planted around the country.
Migrants have been led to believe by Democrats and international open borders activists that if they can make it across our border, we will supply them with wonderful lifestyle opportunities, free healthcare, free housing, free education, and all the food they can eat. They’re being told the Democrats will soon have full control of Washington DC and will then give amnesty to anyone who can make it across the border.
The temptation of a free version of the American dream, presented to them for the taking, is what prompts them to hand over their life savings to cartels. It’s what makes them believe it’s worth it to trek thousands of miles with sexual predators who will use the women and children for their leisure along the way. It’s the lies of the Democrats and the international open borders activists that compel these poor people to believe the treasure chest at the other end of the rainbow in America is worth destroying their lives, renting out their children, and handing over their wives as sexual toys for the trip.
The “compassionate” left is encouraging millions of people to destroy their lives based on a false premise. Migrants are political pawns for Democrats. Nothing more. Americans need to open their eyes to the left’s lies.
