Georgia LIFE Act: GOP faux-life bill does nothing to end abortion

Georgia LIFE Act GOP faux-life bill does nothing to end abortion

There are several sad realities in today’s Republican Party, but one of the saddest is how they manipulate conservatives by pretending to champion our values every election season in an attempt to get our money and our votes. One of those values is life, or more specifically, ending the holocaust we know as abortion.

Like the political leeches they are, Republicans attach themselves to the pro-live movement — not to fight for and defend the unborn, but to preserve the party’s pathetic existence as they such the essence out of the host like the invertebrate parasites they are.

Sadly, the pro-life movement itself has allowed these bloodsuckers to continue feeding off them to the point that they too care more about their survival than the survival of the unborn. And just as the GOP makes money by pretending to fight the abortion industry, groups like the National Right to Life make money pretending to defend life even as they fight attempts by several states to pass laws that would actually ban abortion.

The so-called conservative media also benefits from a viable abortion industry. “Big talkers” ignore Republican lies and broken promises on abortion in exchange for positions of power and influence, and they endorse the party for hiding behind rhetorical attacks against the pro-abortion Far-Left every election season.

The latest example of the GOP’s betrayal on the life issue comes to us courtesy of the State of Georgia where Gov. Brian Kemp recently signed a bill into law that requires abortionists to first check for a heartbeat before killing the unborn child. Detect a heartbeat? No abortion.

Known as the Living Infants Fairness and Equality (LIFE) Act, Kemp patted himself on the back for signing the bill:

“Georgia is a state that values life. We protect the innocent. We champion the vulnerable. We stand up and speak for those unable to speak for themselves.

“The Life Act is very simple but also very powerful: The declaration that all life has value, that all life matters and that all life is worthy of protection.”

Bovine fecal matter!

Let’s look at the “detectable” heartbeat requirement. Who checks for the heartbeat? The abortionist. Who is performing the abortion? The abortionist. Who doesn’t get paid if a heartbeat is detected and the murder is called off? I think you get the idea.

Heartbeat or no heartbeat, the law is loaded with exemptions — the co-sponsor called them a “compromise” — that not only fail to protect “all life,” but makes the law essentially meaningless and unenforceable, including rape, incest, life of the mother, and “medically futile” pregnancies. The legislation describes medically futile as follows:

“Medically futile” means that, in reasonable medical judgment, the unborn child has a profound and irremediable congenital or chromosomal anomaly that is incompatible with sustaining life after birth. This diagnosis is to be a medical judgment certified in the pregnant woman’s medical record by a reasonably prudent physician who is knowledgeable about the case and the treatment possibilities with respect to the medical conditions involved.”

Chromosomal anomaly? Do you know what causes Down’s Syndrome? That’s right, chromosomal anomalies. Under the so-called LIFE Act, an unborn baby with Down’s Syndrome can be murdered if a “reasonably prudent physician” feels the child is incapable of “sustaining life after birth.”

These obvious contradictions aside, co-sponsor of the bill, Republican Jinny Ehrhart, admitted in an interview with Trump’s morning intel team at Fox & Friends last month that the LIFE Act isn’t a solution to Roe v. Wade.

“This bill is a compromise. It does not overturn Roe v. Wade. It balances the rights and interests of the mother with the rights of that unborn child. It’s a balance.”

When the vague exceptions she included in the bill were pointed out, Ehrhart said, “Recognizing that those things are important to upholding the rights of those women, we have included that language in the bill.”

Translation? We made sure to put language in the bill that prevents it from doing what we promised voters it would do. See how pro-life we are?

In the end, however, this is what Republicans have been doing with the life issue for years. Give the illusion that you’re pro-life, repeat meaningless pro-life campaign promises, and pass (or act like you’re trying to pass) in-name-only pro-life legislation as close to an election as possible.

Life is an unalienable right given to us by God, but we have allowed the government to fill the role of rights-giver. When we accept government’s definition of something God has already defined, we’ve exchanged God’s authority for government’s authority.

And as the old saying goes, if we allow government to be the source of our rights, we also allow it to have the power to take our rights away … including the right to life. This is why any law that fails to absolutely protect life from conception is worthless.

Why are we losing to the SJWs?

Why are we losing to the SJWs

We are losing the war right now to the SJWs. There is a remnant of believers still here willing to take a stand, but we are losing. The Cultural Marxists are taking over the church. They’ve infiltrated our very own churches to the point to where they have a firm hold of influence that’s not going to be easy to shake.

One of the reasons why this has happened is because the church, as a whole, has become indifferent to false teaching. The mentality that we need to be tolerant of everybody and their ideas has softened the church to the point where nobody bats an eye when someone like John Piper breaches his heretical Final Salvation gospel. His false teaching is tolerated because we, as the church, accept him… thus, we accept all of his beliefs because of who he is. This is a problem, and the enemy has used it to their advantage.

We have this celebrity mindset within the church where we accept a particular teaching simply because a famous pastor says it’s true. It could be completely off or 100% true, and the church will believe it either way. That’s a serious problem. Discernment has gone out the window.

What we have to remember is that we can’t base our theological beliefs on anyone, including our favorite pastor…. Including our own pastor. We can use them as a springboard for our own study and to help us to understand particular passages, but we need to always be like the Bereans, comparing everything we hear with Scripture.

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

-Acts 17:11

If we can be Bereans, that will go a long way in this battle.

The other reason why we are losing is because many within the church are following a pastor instead of God. This allows the enemy to use its strategy of celebrity influence over the church to usher in false doctrines influencing an unsuspecting group of people. Paul warned us that we need to stop being followers of individual leaders:

For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human? What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

-1 Corinthians 3:4-9

Your favorite pastor is simply being used for God’s purposes. However, he’s not the one that we should be worshiping or glorifying… that’s supposed to be reserved for God and God alone!

A common response to those who criticize celebrity pastors is that the person doing the critique is harming the kingdom of God because that person is so important to God’s plans. To me, that is questioning God’s sovereignty and saying that God’s plans can be thwarted by us. Remember, God is sovereign and in control. Our theology should make us have a low view of ourselves and a high view of God. If you believe that disagreeing with a particular pastor is harming the kingdom of God instead of asking whether the critique is valid or not, that’s a part of the problem.

We should be okay when people disagree with us. We should welcome it. We should encourage it.

Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

-Proverbs 27:17

Engage in the debate. Pastors, welcome criticism of your beliefs. Constantly reevaluate what you are teaching. When someone criticizes you, go to Scripture and see if their critique is valid. If it is, change your ways. If it’s not, point the critic back to Scripture. But either way, it’s a good thing!

Ladies and Gentlemen… please don’t try to protect a celebrity pastor from all criticism. When you do that, you are actually doing more harm than good. The debate and conversation over ideas is what we need right now, but the Evangelical Elite have done an amazing job shutting down the public conversation. This allows them to not define their terms and clearly explain the general principles that they believe support their teachings.

This is dangerous when it comes to Social Justice. The SJWs are not having to defend their beliefs, they just continually spout them off with almost no pushback. We need that to change.

There’s one other reason why I believe that we are losing the war right now, and I’ll address that in my next article. If we can fix these issues, we can have a chance at Reforming the church back to Biblical Christianity.

Participate in the conversation. Join in the debate. It’s how this war is going to be fought. It’s going to be a long fight, and it’s going to be difficult. But in the long run, it’s going to be worth it!

Candace Owens: ‘Leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America’

Candace Owens Leftists and Democrats dont want to see these issues fixed in black America

Speaking before Congress today, conservative activist Candace Owens detailed some of the real problems black citizens are facing in America today. She considers “white nationalism” to be a problem that wouldn’t make her top-100 list of actual issues harming African-Americans and their communities.

What she DOES consider to be huge problems include the deterioration of the family as our welfare system encourages women to remain single mothers, knowing their income from the government would be cut if they were to marry the father of their children. Gun violence is a real problem, but it’s a problem that comes back to gun control areas such as Chicago in which so many black Americans are killed by gun-wielding criminals while law abiding citizens are not allowed to protect themselves.

She looks to the education system that keeps African-American youths from receiving their proper education. And she turned to the policies of Democrats who seem to view African-Americans as a base of voters who must be exploited by indoctrinating them into the notion they’re being persecuted by white nationalists in the GOP.

Owens noted that “leftists and Democrats don’t want to see these issues fixed in black America because then they can’t stomp on those issues.”

It’s clear that Democrats spread lies intent on making minorities believe they’re the party that will help them when invariably their policies are the ones that actually oppress the masses. Marxism’s roots in racism are flourishing in leftist America.

Justin Trudeau’s blackface and the world the left is trying to create

Published

Justin Trudeaus blackface and the world the left is trying to create

There’s a reason we’re only hearing now about progressive superhero Justin Trudeau’s blackface incident. The Prime Minister of Canada has been in the public eye for some time, but when he first entered politics, the progressive charge he’s trying to lead hadn’t really picked up the steam it has today. The people weren’t “woke” enough to go after anything and everything from the past that are condemned today.

Now, we’re ready. Any monuments of people from the past who participated in slavery must be taken down and erased. Any mascots that could offend someone are removed and replaced by politically correct variations. And anyone who wore “blackface” in their past, even at times when people were more sane about the use of makeup to pretend to be someone else, must be racists.

They must be. Otherwise, every element of the left’s current worldview is brought into question.

But Trudeau us unlikely to face the same backlash that a conservative in the same situation would face. That’s the narrative that’s quietly being spread – progressives get a pass while conservatives must be prosecuted in the court of public opinion. This is why Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is still in power. It’s why nothing is going to happen to Trudeau the way it would happen if a conservative were caught doing the same thing 18 years ago.

Progressives aren’t trying to create a world that is more understanding of our differences, despite their proclamations otherwise. They’re trying to create a world in which their sensibilities are condemning when a conservative is in the hot seat but forgiving when it’s a progressive facing the same situations. They want to take away guns, as long as they’re given a pass to keep their own firearms. They say words are violence, then they use their own words to attack others while feeling justified in their heinous speech.

It’s a world in with a group proclaiming to be anti-fascist uses their own variation of personal fascism and intimidation to quash the voices of anyone on the right… or even the center.

The leftist’s dream society of socialism and open borders crumbles when the rules they want applied to others are applied to them. This is why Bernie Sanders and other progressive leaders scream about socialism while elevating their own wealthy status through capitalism.

We live in a world that is becoming increasingly opposed to the truth. Even churches are ignoring sound doctrine, replacing the teachings of the Bible with anecdotes to promote their self-help agenda.

When an organization that tries to prevent as many women as possible from becoming a parent can call itself Planned Parenthood, we see where society is heading. When its supporters call opposition to their cause hateful bigots while ignoring the organization’s founder was a self-proclaimed hateful bigot, we know we’re heading in the the wrong direction.

It permeates across all aspects of American society and the leftist’s approach to promoting their agenda. They change words to have different meanings. Today, they don’t want a differentiation between legal and illegal immigrants. They want all of us classified as immigrants so they can say President Trump’s policies are anti-immigrant instead of the reality that his policies work against illegal immigration.

All of this circles back around to the reality that Justin Trudeau will not face the same consequences for his “insensitive” portrayal 18 years ago that a conservative would. Our emerging post-truth society allows the left to see what they want to see.
