It’s starting to become a joke. Scratch that. It’s been a joke for a while. Considering there are now 21 “major” Democrats running for the presidential nomination for the party, it’s no wonder Joe Biden’s on top. He and Senator Bernie Sanders are two of the only candidates coming in with any name recognition.
Senator Michael Bennet from Colorado is the 21st to hop in the clown car. I don’t know much about him and (unless the editor objects) I’m not going to learn much about him at this point. I’m imposing a person 4% rule. Anyone who can’t make it to 4% in a major poll isn’t going to be a factor and therefore requires very little of my time. I know his name, some of his politics (though that’s going to chance now that he’s a candidate), his state, and a little about his history.
Frankly, none of it’s worth reporting at this time.

The funny part is he has enough time to make it to the debates. He has to get to 1% in three major polls or get 65,000 unique donors. The DNC made the rules very light because they didn’t want to seem to exclusive this time. Last time we went through this, the criteria was basically anyone not named Hillary Clinton would not be receiving the questions ahead of time and therefore won’t be allowed to have a shot at winning the nomination.
It’s getting cliche to say the Democratic nomination field is a clown car. Let’s start calling it a Democratic Caravan. They can march together to the southern border and cross back and forth at will.
