Last week, a Caucasian child was allegedly murdered by his abusive parents. The story was big news across America with every major and minor news outlet giving it an extreme amount of airtime, and rightfully so. Around the same time, a Hispanic child was also allegedly murdered by his father, yet none of the major outlets and only a handful of minor outlets gave it much attention at all. Are news agencies racists? Do they only give coverage when it’s a white kid that gets killed?
That might seem like the case in the scenarios I just laid out, but I excluded an extremely important piece of information. The Hispanic parent who allegedly murdered a child with his bare hands after learning he wasn’t the father is an illegal immigrant who had been deported five times. If you’re one who pays attention to the narratives built by leftists and mainstream media (and if you read NOQ Report regularly, you probably are), then this makes perfect sense.
Leftist mainstream media and their handlers in the Democratic Party know two things for certain. First, they know there are huge problems at the border and across America ranging from visa overstays to housing for migrants, skipped asylum hearings to overburdened social services. But the two biggest risks are terrorists and violent criminals. The second thing they know for certain is that most Americans consider these problems important. That’s why most media outlets don’t report it. That’s why they cover it up instead of doing their jobs and just covering it.
Narrative control is the only thing going for Democrats as we approach the 2020 election season. Some would argue that President Trump himself is a liability to himself that the Democrats have going for them, but the things that make him a liability to himself and the GOP at time are the same things that make him a benefit when the border crisis is at top of mind. Many complained that he made the late push before the 2018 election to focus on immigration, but I’m in the camp that he started to late on that talking point and the GOP itself didn’t do enough to make it the issue it should have been. Now, they have a second chance, but they’d have to overcome the narrative that is currently controlled by the left.
Neither side wants to take chances. The GOP will do what the GOP does and President Trump will do his thing. But the left has a few things they absolutely need to do if they want a chance of winning. One of them is to negate the sentiment that’s been building around the illegal immigration problem. Candidates do this by trying to paint illegal immigration as a race issue. Conservatives should rejoice at this tactic because even though the leftists who go to the rallies buy into it, others will not come election day. If the borders continue to be overrun and migrants continue to be released wholesale to the interior, the narrative won’t be enough to conceal it from the public all the way through to election day.
The best way patriots can help the President and the GOP in 2020 is to share stories that tell the truth about illegal immigration. Most of the media isn’t on the right side, which means we need to spread the word from honest sources.

When I left my cushy corporate job in 2017, I did so knowing that my family would have to make sacrifices. But I couldn’t continue to watch the nation slip into oblivion and was inspired by President Trump’s willingness to fight the good fight even at his own personal expense. What I didn’t realize then is that conservative media would be so heavily attacked, canceled, and defunded that the sacrifices would be extreme.
Many in this nation are struggling right now even though we weren’t struggling just a few years ago. I’m not alone. I refuse to be beholden to Big Tech like so many other conservative news outlets, which is why you won’t see Google ads here. With that said, it’s often challenging to pay the bills and it’s even harder to expand so we can get the America First message out to a wider audience.
