The hyper-leftists at the Justice Democrats have an early target. Now that former Vice President Joe Biden has officially entered the race for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020, the radical progressives responsible for Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s rise are going after him, labeling him as the past for the party.

Many in the group were part of Bernie Sanders’s failed 2016 election bid, but they have not endorsed him or any other candidates yet. So far, they know they don’t like Biden, who many consider to be the only major “moderate” in the race so far.

It’s hard to know for sure whether to appreciate these guys for attempting to destroy the Democratic Party from within or fear these guys because they might actually get what they want – a radical party that relies on the unhinged and uninformed. It really comes down to Democrats themselves. If they’re strong enough to say left-of-center as a voting block, then the Justice Democrats are a blessing in disguise. If the party base is too weak to think for themselves and follow the road to socialism like sheep to the slaughter, then the Justice Democrats may be the greatest existential threat the country has ever seen in American politics.
The problem with them is that their ideas have a populist appeal to those who are willing to stick their heads in the sound. Free college – sounds good! Free healthcare – sounds great! Save the environment – sounds fantastic! But when the curtain is pulled back to reveal that nothing is free and their objectives, if achieved, will rip apart the fabric of this nation, their ideas become less appealing.
But will Democrats, especially the impressionable young in this country, take the time or put in the effort to dig deeper into their proposals and the repercussions they’d bring about? Judging by the popularity of AOC despite her asinine policy proposals, I’m not so sure the left is going to touch the curtain, let alone pull it back to reveal the truth.
That, I suppose, is up to us.

Final Thoughts
The Justice Democrats will not stop until every member of the party is a full-fledged socialist. Biden represents a semi-sensible level of progressivism, which is the very thing they want to eliminate. It’s radical or bust for this dangerous group.
