Right is the opposite of wrong. Right is the opposite of left. Coincidental? Perhaps! But NOQ Report needs you to write the right in both senses of the word.
Publisher JD Rucker has extended the opportunity to join the small but growing cadre of dedicated contributors to this website which counteracts the best efforts of the spin masters on both sides of the political aisle.
“Share your voice: Conservative writers wanted”
“We only accept original content. Our mission is to promote a conservative and/or Judeo-Christian message online where the majority of the news is left-leaning.”
NOQ report is gaining due attention ~ but moreover due credibility ~ nationally and I would daresay internationally. Our goal is to reach both decision-makers and the voters who can replace them if they don’t do their jobs right.
There is a need everywhere in the United States of America to get the right message to the right people in the right way at the right time. But I can personally vouch for the fact that nowhere is this more desperately needed at this juncture than here in Hawaii.
When I retired from a 42-year career in public service on January 3, 2015, after taking some personal time including a long-overdue holiday in Australia, I turned my attention toward helping end the Democrat one-party monopoly here at America’s mid-Pacific Frontier.
Because good national conservative leadership is a prerequisite to establishing good local conservative leadership, I first volunteered in the presidential campaign of Ted Cruz. Then in the midterm elections, I volunteered first in the primary campaign of John Carroll for Hawaii Governor. Then I offered my services as a volunteer in the general election for the senatorial campaign of Ron Curtis.
Everybody in the country obviously knows that Ted Cruz fell short. But for those of you outside Hawaii, I will mention that neither of the candidates that I supported in 2018 prevailed.
But each successive campaign was a learning experience for me. The most difficult aspect was trying to get the message to the voters while all the local Hawaii media were doing their best to squelch the conservative agenda while running defense for their Democrat puppet masters.
I will offer you one prime example of that fact. After interviewing John Carroll and working closely with him to ensure that his recollections were accurately conveyed, I wrote an article entitled “John Carroll Rates Every Hawaii Governor Since Statehood”. This was submitted on June 24, 2018 by Mr. Carroll himself to a local online media outlet whom I won’t do any favors by naming here. They refused to publish it and would not even give the courtesy of an explanation though they claim to provide coverage of all political candidates.
With a brief introduction, that article was reproduced verbatim here on NOQ Report on March 7, 2019 under the title “A case study in getting the conservative message to the voters“. Because its historical value persists despite its political value now being moot, we believed the people of Hawaii deserved to be able to read it for themselves.
I bring up that anecdote to confirm that NOQ Report is truly a godsend to the conservative voters of Hawaii. JD Rucker has published 28 articles from yours truly within the last two months, including the one you’re reading right now.
Research, analysis, synthesis, formulation, articulation and dissemination to appropriate parties of pertinent timely data comprise much of what I did for most of the last half-century. That’s why I greatly appreciate the opportunity to reach relevant persons in this objective online forum.
I encourage other conservatives to take Mr. Rucker up on his offer. This is your opportunity to overcome the Democrat media blackout of all things conservative here in these islands.
I particularly encourage Ron Curtis as he deliberates whether to make another run for office, to put his well-thought-out and admirably-prepared platform for his conservative agenda going forward, into original articles for NOQ Report. I’m sure not only myself but others will help to ensure that they are shared far and wide with our families, friends and neighbors in Hawaii.
This isn’t so much a “Vote for Me” thing as it is a conduit for conveying conservative analyses to others, which includes any fair-minded Democrats still living, along with Republicans. That’s why I’d like to see others apply your writing talents to a worthwhile objective.
Unfortunately, the term “Prominent Republicans” is virtually an oxymoron here in Hawaii. It’s going to take a lot of people whose names are not well-known to get involved.
Along with Ron Curtis and John Carroll with whom I have worked closely in the past, I would like Sam Slom who lost his longtime seat in the Hawaii State Senate, as he tries to regain it again next year, to consider NOQ Report as a conduit for his immense knowledge of the Hawaii political landscape.
We have had some talented people who previously carried an [R] after their name find that the grass is greener on the Democrat side of the fence. Identity politics is a major problem which we must all acknowledge and avoid. It’s hard to get elected in Hawaii when you’re under the GOP brand which Democrats have so successfully discredited over the years. But we need people with stick-to-itiveness.
The emphasis of what I personally have written thus far for NOQ Report has revolved around national security / border security and/or politics. But we need Subject Matter Experts [SMEs] in many other fields of knowledge. Academia. Economics. Social science. Meteorology. Military matters. Managing political campaigns. Indigenous affairs. Environmental issues. That’s a suggestive rather than exhaustive list. So much more.
This article has admittedly been directed at trying to recruit qualified people here in Hawaii to avail yourselves of this unique opportunity which JD Rucker has put before you today. But if anybody outside Hawaii is still reading at this point, I also hope you will consider the urgency of the needs in your own home state and join us at NOQ Report also.
Please contact JD and tell him who you are, where you are and something about the conservative vision which you would like to share. As he says, this is strictly volunteer. I almost said it’s an unpaid gig. But it’s not really unpaid. You just won’t get any funds in your bank account. But you will get the satisfaction of knowing that you have expressed your sincere thoughts to decision-makers and those who will determine whether to replace them with other decision-makers.

Trump hits Fox News, Chris Wallace for Pete Buttigieg town hall
President Trump has always been a supporter of Fox News. Some have noted how many of his talking points came from the news network; during the day he quotes Fox & Friends, while in the evening he quotes Sean Hannity and others. But there’s one show host he doesn’t care for and one activity he’s lashed out against at the network.
He doesn’t like Chris Wallace and he isn’t happy when they have Democratic presidential candidates on.
….who got them there. Chris Wallace said, “I actually think, whether you like his opinions or not, that Mayor Pete has a lot of substance…fascinating biography.” Gee, he never speaks well of me – I like Mike Wallace better…and Alfred E. Newman will never be President!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 19, 2019
He spoke out last month when the network had Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on for a a town hall with Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. Though the hosts were critical of Sanders and asked him tough questions, the event was considered a win by many for Sanders as he deflected some issues and turned others in his favor. This peeved the President, but not as much as Wallace did this morning.
The son of famed newsman Mike Wallace had South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg on for a town hall Sunday and proceeded to not only throw him softballs for questions, but at times praise the Democratic candidate. This didn’t sit well with the President.
I understand the premise of the news is that it’s supposed to be unbiased. But I also recognize the reality that all news is biased. The President has very few allies in the media and Fox News is the biggest, so when they seem to be helping the opposition, it’s bound to tweak the President.
In a perfect world, the major news networks would be truly fair and balanced. This isn’t a perfect world and the cards are stacked against conservatives. Just as the education system leans left, so too do most mainstream media news outlets.
Chris Wallace sticks out at Fox News as one of the few outspoken detractors of President Trump. It puts them in a pickle because they don’t want to get rid of the popular show host over his political views, but their core audience is comprised almost entirely of Trump supporters. It doesn’t behoove them to have someone so outspoken, especially when the opposition is using his shows a platform to take down the President.
“Gee, he never speaks well of me – I like Mike Wallace better…and Alfred E. Newman will never be President!” – President Trump
In a media atmosphere in which news outlets are picking sides, the President only has one major outlet on his. The days of news outlets simply reporting the news may be behind us. This is a side effect of the polarization in America.
Conservative Media, we need to blacklist Trump-Russia story and move on
To The Daily Wire, One America News, Washington Times, Blaze Media, and all others to the right of Fox News,
There was no collusion and no obstruction. It took over two years for this narrative to search under every stone and exhaust millions of dollars to, in the end, find nothing. The leftist media will not make many concessions, especially as it relates to obstruction for a crime that was not committed. We cannot as conservatives prove beyond an unreasonable doubt that Trump did not collude or obstruct. As Democrats in Congress keep the narrative on life support, the Conservative media needs to pull the plug.
The average American is fatigued by the Trump-Russia collusion/obstruction narrative. Meanwhile our effort is playing defense against a leftist narrative rather than reporting on issues both our base and the politically uninvolved care far more about. When the economy is strong and the border crisis is pressing, why is so much of our attention directed towards the soap opera clown show that takes place? Instead of countering this narrative, conservative media should starve the narrative of as much attention as possible.
An area which Conservatives have long failed, but have made great improvements towards, is controlling the narrative, the language and Overton Window of society. If we continue to counter the leftist narrative of the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory, we will continue to feed their power in controlling the narrative in the American political and cultural arena. Instead, let us make an effort to not only counter the narrative but set the narrative.
In our friendly rivalry as Conservative outlets, let us come together and collectively move on from the Trump-Russia story, discarding it as if it were a flat-earth conspiracy and move on.
Cory Booker in the aggregate: Propagating the ’mass shooting every day’ deception
Witness the formation of a false talking point by continual repetition.
Presidential candidate Cory Booker et al. has repeated the same line of ‘a mass shooting every day, in the aggregate’ for the past few weeks in various town halls and interviews. Like most Leftist talking points, this absurd assertion has been carefully constructed to foment a pithy little saying unmoored from reality. The fact is, the Liberty grabber Left exploites every mass shooting to maximum effect, to the point that they have begun to regularly use ‘anniversaries’ of these tragedies to push for more controls over our freedom. Even in this case, it has it’s own escape clause of ‘in the aggregate’ if anyone is ever called on this deception..
Just for reference, this is the Oxford English dictionary entry for the phrase ‘in (the) aggregate’
In total; as a whole.
Again, even here reality isn’t too kind to the Left. The fact is, there hasn’t been a ‘mass shootings in the aggregate every day.’ Or ‘mass shootings In total every day.’ As in this video at the 5:10 mark.
This is as yet another case where the Left doesn’t care about the truth of the matter, only the setting of a certain perception in the public consciousness. It doesn’t matter that each and every mass shooting is exploited from beginning to end. Or that even the hint of one taking place will see news bulletins instantly going out over the wire.
That plain fact doesn’t stop Leftists from trying to promulgate the false perception of gun violence being an overwhelming ‘epidemic’ that demands the immediate implementation of drastic measures.
Repeating a lie doesn’t make it true.
Despite the admonitions from infamous Leftists Adolph Hitler and Vladimir Lenin, repeating a lie doesn’t make it the truth, but it is part and parcel for Leftists to traffic in lies. The fact is, mass shootings are rare, no matter what kind of creativity in defining these distinctive events to include just about anything imaginable.
The plain fact is that Leftists need ‘serious crisis’ in order to ratchet down our Liberty. When reality fails to meet their needs, they just make up their own ‘in the aggregate’. Never mind that there aren’t mass shootings every day, the national socialist Left would like that to be the perception so they can push their gun confiscation agenda. They push the ‘gun violence is a unique problem in the states’ even though other nations are far more violent, but as they drift further and further into insanity their grip on reality has become that much more tenuous.
