There’s always a love-hate relationship with Google for many conservatives, particularly content creators. On one hand, we’re often reliant on the biggest search engine to send traffic to our websites as well as share information about our content, such as movie times and locations. On the other hand, they have a clear and unquestionable lean to the left that makes them take action against conservatives while always claiming it’s just a conspiracy theory.
At NOQ Report, we struggle with it every day. We rely on Google for not only traffic but revenue, and despite attempts to be completely crowdfunded, we’re just not there yet.
Unplanned, the movie that’s drawn so much controversy and attempts by entities favorable to Planned Parenthood to suppress it, got a taste of Google’s ire when they classified the movie as “Propaganda.” First noted by the Daily Signal and confirmed by Fox News, the label is one obviously intended to put a negative spin in the minds of people considering seeing it.
Of course, there are plenty of movies that are much more appropriate to be labeled as propaganda that do not have such a label, such as Vice, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Capitalism: A Love Story.
Unplanned is labeled as propaganda.

Google has since corrected it by removing the label and blaming their automated “Knowledge Graph” for the issue. For some reason, I’m not completely buying that excuse, but I’m sure everyone else will. After all. They’re Google.
