White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders blamed Democrats for perpetuating the border crisis as masses of people continue travelling through Mexico into the United States to claim asylum. She appeared on Fox and Friends to voice the administration’s concerns.

We’ve been critical of the GOP for not acting when they had the chance, but the only defense they have is they didn’t realize the problem would escalate to the point it has. Now, it’s a true emergency, a full-blown crisis, and Democrats are the ones stopping any solutions from making it to the President’s desk.
There’s nothing worse in politics than a group, in this case the entirety of the Democratic Party, that is aware their actions are harmful to Americans but choose to ignore the problems because it is politically expedient. This is a sick perversion of governance, one that must be reversed come election day, 2020. The GOP is far from perfect. One might even argue they’re not good at all. But compared to the mess the Democrats are allowing to continue, the GOP is practically saintly.
Thousands of people are released into the interior every day. Some of these people may belong here eventually as their asylum applications are processed, but none of them have gone through the proper channels or followed the rule of law. Democrats would argue they’re allowed to be here because our asylum laws do not make them illegal just because they breach the borders. This is why the laws need to change. President Trump tried to change policy by executive order, but his attempt was blocked by the courts. Now it’s up to Congress to make they change.
They should.
In the meantime, nothing positive is happening to improve border security. There aren’t enough beds, personnel, technology, or resources to handle the problem properly. Thankfully, Mexico seems to be taking it more seriously than they have in the past.

Final Thoughts
Both parties helped make the crisis at the border, but the Democrats are clearly the ones who own it now by blocking every attempt to solve the problem. Watch closely as they everything they can to distract from their disaster.
