Update: Carlson responded.
— Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) March 11, 2019
Original Story:
Social media is exploding after Fox News host Tucker Carlson had some of his old soundbites pulled from the ever-present historical clouds of the internet that revealed him making disgusting comments about underage girls, defending Warren Jeffs, and making generally misogynistic comments on radio shows from 2006 to 2011. He was hired by Fox News in 2009.

The clips, compiled by progressive propaganda machine Media Matters, are extremely damaging to a television personality who has built his reputation on being a straight talker.
My Take
Leftists are pouncing. They should be. These weren’t inaccurately characterized statements pulled out of context for the most part. These clips are indefensible and conservatives should be shaking their collective heads in unison.
Perhaps each one in a vacuum can be disregarded as careless, but the body of work Media Matters compiled demonstrates a trend that shouldn’t be dismissed by those of us who believe in conservatism, family values, and holding people accountable for their actions. If anything, we should be the loudest in condemning Carlson over his remarks even though he’s good at exposing leftist hypocrisies.
We lose credibility when we attack the left based on one set of rules but hide the rule book when someone fighting by our side strays. This isn’t one of those cases where someone was being a little too loose with their words at a time when such things were okay. The shock jock era wasn’t okay during the shock jock era, at least by my reckoning. If that’s what is required to get enough popularity in order to land a real gig, then it’s a path no conservative should follow.
Tucker Carlson should resign. He took it too far. I know it was in the past, but his willingness to say those things should disqualify him from being an influencer as part of a major news outlet. I know this opinion will be unpopular, but it’s how I feel.
Will you help revive the American Conservative Movement?
Covid variant BA.5 is spreading. It appears milder but much more contagious and evades natural immunity. Best to boost your immune system with new Z-Dtox and Z-Stack nutraceuticals from our dear friend, the late Dr. Vladimir Zelenko.
A month or so ago I heard Tucker making some long overdue points against the inordinate amount of influence big corporate interests have over American, and especially Republican politics. I wondered at the time how long and how before he would be punished for his uppity attitude. Now it is clear that the crony capitalists will dispose of him in the same way they did Sarah Palin. No conservative voice can be raised against corporate greed. Only “socialists” get that subject. It is how the international fascist oligarchy coheres.
Having Tucker resign is what the left wants and is the tactic they use to get rid of conservatives. Yes, what he said was horrible but people make mistakes. No one is perfect except for the Lord. I just donated to your site and hope I made the right decision.
These are the same democrats who support what Rashida Tlaib called President Trump when she urged that he be impeached. I don’t believe the moral equivalence argument is effective either but it’s not always a moral issue. If the democrats use obscenities when railing, why would anyone heed their whines when their enemies use it. Take a long look at Media Matters for a definition of obscenity.
The writer of this story sounds like a left wing, whining wimp….”Mommy, mommy, the man said bad things many years ago and my wittle hands are too small to cover my ears, so let’s punish him now.”
This entire debate is not about what people said or did a long time ago.It is not about competing with the left to see who can rack up the biggest numbers of firings or resignations. it is about retaining freedom and holding at bay those who would take away that freedom, and Tucker Carlson has shown that he has become a staunch defender of that freedom.
There are plenty of good, staunch defenders of freedom who see a problem with “liking that scenario” of children exploring each other’s bodies.
As for being a left wing whining wimp, no. I’ve fought too hard to dismantle the hyper-leftist apparatus that feeds of faux-conservatives who defend people like Tucker Carlson. They LOVE the fact that faux-conservatives pretend like there’s nothing wrong with someone who argued in defense of a man that arranged marriage between adult men and female children. It perpetuates their lunacy and gives them no reason to listen to the tenets of “conservatives” who make excuses for people like Tucker Carlson as if there aren’t hundreds of other staunch conservatives who can have guests on Fox News and attack leftists.
The problem with people like you is that you defend Carlson’s public declarations about child sexual activities, then go out there acting like your actions are benefiting America somehow. You troll the internet using false or incomplete names, and have the audacity to call someone fighting for a true conservative future for the nation, “whining wimp.” You, Al, are oh so brave. Stay anonymous, friend. It’s safer there. Tucker loves you either way.
I appreciate you, Kim. Your comments are thoughtful. No, the left doesn’t want to get rid of Tucker Carlson. They want Tucker to stay front and center representing conservatism so anything he says can be attacked on social media. They’ll say he’s “our guy” after saying he likes “that scenario” of school-age girls in dorm rooms exploring each other’s bodies. They want Tucker representing us when hundreds of conservative personalities are waiting in the wing to do exactly what he’s doing now, perhaps better.
If would be totally different and I would defend Carlson, as I have done in the past, if it were simply obscenities. But he went too far with his references to school-age girls in sexual situations with each other. That’s not the guy I want representing the conservative movement.
I don’t disagree, but I believe Media Matters was working on their own accord. They love attacking conservatives and sometimes it hits home.
