Senator Amy Klobuchar wants to be the Democrats’ Midwest answer to President Trump. Unfortunately for her, there are those who served on her staff who believe she’s not really the answer to anything as accusations of being an abusive boss came to light just as she was announcing her intention to run for President.
According to Politico, former staff members have said she was essentially unhinged, even going so far as to throw items around the office in fits of rage.

Klobuchar, like Elizabeth Warren and at least half of the other Democratic hopefuls, has very little chance of having an impact on the Democratic nomination process. She will paint herself as the common sense alternative to the far-left Democratic Socialists who are all the rage lately, but it’s not going to separate her enough from the pack to make a difference.
Nevertheless, this is an opportunity for Republicans to go after her policies. As my colleague noted earlier, it’s important for Republicans to focus on how bad the Democrats’ proposals are instead of trying to use the personal attacks that were effective in the 2016 election. The nation is growing fatigued by all of the personal attacks, in my opinion, and there are plenty of bad proposals to attack instead.
If America is to trust modern day Democrats with the nation’s future, it must be because they feel they have better ideas. They don’t, which is why their ideas need to be the highlight of the upcoming campaigns. Making it personal will favor the Democrats.
