Senator Cory “Spartacus” Booker is running for President. This is no surprise, of course, since he made a show of himself during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. Now that it’s official, DailyWire EIC Ben Shapiro has some thoughts about the man and the mythical legend, at least in the Senator’s own mind.
The melodramatic way in which he presents the scenario that led to his presidential run is enough to make us cringe. But the message itself is also quite comical. Throughout, he talks about how he’s spent his life trying to make Newark better, and even though that never actually happened, he’s proud that he stood by and let it all continue to sink. That’s not the intended message, but if you compare his record to his words within the framework of realities in Newark, it paints an unflattering picture.
Booker is just the latest to hop in the Democrats’ 2020 clown car. He may not be a frontrunner now, but if he keeps putting out videos, he may just be able to convince people to vote for him based on his willingness to speak dramatically.
