Yes. And no. Here’s how it will play out…
Unlike H. Ross Perot and Ralph Nader, Howard Schultz likely wouldn’t take the campaign all the way through to the general election. He’s a pragmatist who feels the urge to change the way things operate, but that same pragmatism will win in the end. He’ll realize he’s unable to beat the two major parties and will withdraw before he does damage to the Democrats.
While he’s a lifelong Democrat, he’s upset with the federal debt, something that requires willful ignorance in order to truly remain a Democrat. Anyone who sees the incredible spending problem Washington DC has should be opposed to actions by both parties that continue to perpetuate the problem. Nevertheless, Democrats still try harder to drive up the debt and increase spending even if Republicans aren’t as far behind them as they once were.
In this video, CBS News does what they can to talk him out of it. Their desire to evict President Trump from the White House makes them concerned about a run by Schultz. Personally, I welcome his candidacy. Anything to shake up the status quo is worth supporting.
Covid variant BA.5 is spreading. It appears milder but much more contagious and evades natural immunity. Best to boost your immune system with new Z-Dtox and Z-Stack nutraceuticals from our dear friend, the late Dr. Vladimir Zelenko.
