Everyone has a statistic they like to quote. Depending on their perspective on a particular issue, that statistic will support one side or the other. This is why there’s so much confusion about the border crisis. Is it a crisis? Of course it is. One doesn’t need a statistic to tell them that, but within these stats are the justification progressives use to ignore the issue.
Ken Paxton can’t ignore it. He’s tasked with trying to stop it every day. As Texas Attorney General, his job is to make sure law enforcement is able to do their jobs despite being hampered by progressives who don’t want a wall or improved border security.
Sabine Durden can’t ignore it, either. She’s a legal immigrant who stood in line to bring her son to America. Sadly, her son’s life was taking from him by an illegal alien. Of course, individual stories like these can’t get mainstream media’s attention. But it isn’t just the media. She can’t get Chuck Schumer or Nancy Pelosi to talk to her for five minutes. Why? Because they don’t want to face the shame of knowing the policies they support are policies that led to Durden’s son’s death.
The border wall is no longer optional. It’s a requirement if we’re to keep Americans safe, including legal immigrants who are most harmed by illegal immigration. Sabine Durden and Ken Paxton know this all too well. It’s time to build the wall.
