Democrats often say “words have meaning.” It’s true. Of course, actions have much more meaning, especially when they contradict words. Over the last week or so, all we’ve heard about is how the Democrats “support border security” despite the fact they’ve opposed every action to improve border security for nearly a decade.
They condemn border patrol agents for doing their jobs.
They condemn ICE and call for it to be abolished.
They are okay with funding certain elements of border security as long as they’re not truly effective at securing the border.
They don’t support the wall.
All of these facts add up to a single conclusion: Democrats in DC do not actually support border security. They only invoke their “support” for border security to argue against real measures to secure the border. Watch them. They’ll start sentences with, “We support border security, but…” Whatever follows the “but” will be an argument against a policy that will actually help secure the borders.
It’s not just Democrats, though. It’s the media as well, as Wolf Blitzer demonstrated above.
Words have meaning. The Democrats always say that. That includes lies, which every Democrat does when discussing border security. Just because they say they support it doesn’t mean they actually do.

When “Yes” is followed by a qualifying ‘nuance’ [“…but…”], then it’s like saying “Well, no, because…”
