The media is loaded with leftists. We’ve known this for a while and we’ve done our best to expose them for it. Sometimes, we simply have to sit back and wait for them to expose themselves.
Brenda Battel, formerly a reporter for the Huron Daily Tribune, was calling Senate candidate John James’ campaign to set up a post-election interview. She left a message on the answering service and thought she’d hung up. She hadn’t.
Instead, she expressed her feelings. The campaign released the audio. Upon hearing it, editor Kate Hessling fired Battel.

“I have listened to the voicemail left by Brenda Battel to Mr. James’ campaign, and find no reason to defend this behavior,” Huron Daily Tribune editor Kate Hessling said in a statement. “Brenda Battel’s employment has been immediately terminated.”

My Take
Two things. First, reporters should be as unbiased as possible. That means if they have strong feelings about a candidate one way or the other, they should recuse themselves. Second, be sure to hang up before talking **** about someone.
Update: To Battel’s credit, she took responsibility for her actions and apologized on Twitter. It would have been easy to be bitter and lash out at the campaign for releasing the audio or at her former bosses for letting her go over the mistake. Instead, she did the right thing.

Covid variant BA.5 is spreading. It appears milder but much more contagious and evades natural immunity. Best to boost your immune system with new Z-Dtox and Z-Stack nutraceuticals from our dear friend, the late Dr. Vladimir Zelenko.
Clearly the love child of fat, ugly, and bad skin…
Brenda Battel: Another biased hate-filled racist, with bad makeup.
The author of this article said what needs to be said. There is no need to make negative statements about people who are not blessed w beauty pageant looks and skin. Really, all this sort of a comment serves is to make me feel sympathetic towards her.
I think the key think the author wrote is that if reporters cannot keep open minds and report from that perspective they should recuse themselves or be open to the risk of being considered and called FAKE news.
