It’s an unfair stereotype made on both sides of the political aisle that Hispanic voters are generally Democrats. That’s not to say that most Hispanics do not support the Democratic Party, but Hispanic VOTERS may be more aligned with Republicans than mainstream media wants you to believe.
A poll conducted earlier this year by Telemundo suggests Hispanic voters in San Diego, a city that faces real challenges with illegal immigration, are 59% more likely to support the White House’s policies on illegal immigration than their Hispanic neighbors in northern California. In fact, nearly a third of Hispanic voters in San Diego approve of building the border wall.
How can this be? After all, the mainstream media narrative is that nearly all Hispanics are in favor of illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, and the repercussions that come with them.
On the contrary, it’s the legal immigrants within the Hispanic community who realize three things:
- It’s unfair that they or their families were forced to go through the process of legal immigration, only to have those who circumvented that system rewarded by Democrats.
- Those who want to come to America but are unable to enter legally are much more likely to become illegal immigrants. Choosing to break the law as the first interaction an individual has with a nation should speak volumes about whether or not they would break further laws once embedded here.
- Jobs that should go to legal immigrants and tax payer dollars that should be spent on helping those who do not break the law are affected by illegal immigrants who will work for less and who cost taxpayers more.
Listen to the words of this Hispanic voter in Texas who broke from the leftist narrative. Democrats want Hispanics to believe they’re fighting for them by enabling more illegal immigration. Many Hispanics aren’t buying into their false ideology.
