Oprah Winfrey hit the campaign trail in the final week ahead of the midterm elections, appearing at a campaign rally for Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. The Democrat is in a tight race with Republican Brian Kemp.
“I don’t want to run, okay,” she adamantly said at the rally. “I’m not trying to test any water. I don’t want to go in those waters. I’m here today because of Stacey Abrams.”
It’s a lie. She’s testing the waters. She does want to be the first female President and this is her chance to see how well she does in front of a crowd. It’s not the only reason. It’s not even the biggest reason. But it’s a reason.
