Somehow, Democrats have been able to mislead the general public about the tax cuts made last year. It’s still heavily regarded by a majority of Americans as positive for the rich and corporations with minimal benefits for middle-class Americans.
This simply isn’t true, but with mainstream media in the Democrats’ pocket, it’s understandable that this has been a minor issue for the midterm elections. It’s unfortunate that most Republicans aren’t reminding the people about the great benefits the tax cuts have delivered to the vast majority of Americans.
Representative Tom MacArthur (R-NJ) is one of the few GOP candidates getting the word out to his base. Yes, the tax cuts were good for Americans. Yes, they have helped the economy surge and have directly resulted in more American jobs. MacArthur knows this.
Hopefully, voters in New Jersey will have noticed how beneficial these tax cuts have been for them as individuals and for the entire nation. New Jersey voters should keep Tom MacArthur in the House.
Thanks to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, small businesses have the lowest tax rate since World War II. Our pro-growth policies make our economy stronger, boost consumer confidence, and allow businesses to compete on the world stage. pic.twitter.com/GDXEQxuPe7
