Let’s do a quick thought experiment. You have two women with stories of being attacked by men. One incident is from nearly four decades ago with no corroboration other than a mention to her therapist. The other is from two years ago with evidence that includes medical records, reports to doctors about the abuse, and even the same type of mention to her therapist.
Which one do Democratic leaders embrace? Which one do Democratic leaders abuse?
In this bizarre scenario, we can throw logic out the door. Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, hasn’t provided evidence of the sexual abuse she claims happened 36 years ago. Does that mean she shouldn’t be believed? No. Her accusation should be heard.
But if Ford’s accusation should be heard, then Karen Monahan’s should DEFINITELY be heard and heeded. She has accused Minnesota attorney general candidate Keith Ellison of abuse and has an abundance of evidence to support her claim. Instead of being heard, her fellow Democrats have abandoned her.
“I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it,” she wrote on Twitter. “My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.”
“Four people, including my supervisor at the time, stated that I came to them after and shared the exact story I shared publicly, I shared multiple text between me and Keith, where I discuss the abuse with him and much more,” she added. “I knew I wouldn’t be believed.”
This is the most disgusting form of hypocrisy the Democrats can perpetrate in their push to “protect” women. They are adamant about believing the accusations of all women… unless they’re accusations are against important Democrats. The intellectual dishonesty on display with these two circumstances is appalling.
The people who are going after Kavanaugh for one accusation are the same people shielding Ellison from a more credible accusation. They aren’t interested in believing all victims, just the ones that help them politically.
