House proposal makes DACA permanent and grants citizenship to illegals

Published

on

When Donald Trump issued an executive order in Sept. 2017 rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) order issued by Barack Obama, he was cheered by his adoring fans for appearing to keep one of his campaign promises regarding the illegal immigration problem. However, as the old saying goes, appearances can be deceiving.

The reason I call it deceiving is because Trump’s order was merely a technicality—sort of a Rescind-In-Name-Only moment—used to buy the time necessary to make DACA permanent, which has been his “big heart” goal from the beginning.

Of course, any permanent legislation needs to come from Congress, which should have been problematic for Republicans who campaigned for years against Obama’s handling of illegal immigration. But in today’s Republican party—owned and operated by Trump—such commitments have become secondary to the requirement to please Dear Leader.

For example, just days after Trump’s deceptive order, Mitch McConnell went on record in support of negotiation with Democrats and the president—but I repeat myself—to save DACA and create an amnesty plan and eventual citizenship for approximately 1.8 million DREAMers.

Though past attempts have failed, election-season fever is sweeping Washington, so Trump and Republican party loyalists are making another push to get the job done.

After conducting several days of Nancy Pelosi-style meetings behind closed doors, Paul Ryan released an immigration plan yesterday that will legally protect DREAMers while also providing over $23 billion for another Trump promise—a border wall.

Wait a minute! I though Trump promised us that Mexico was going to pay for the wall. I suppose that’s just another in-name-only moment for the New York liberal.

Back to the House proposal. DREAMers can apply for “nonimmigrant status” which is essentially a newfangled way to say visa. The extra visas necessary to handle these requests will be available due to new restrictions that will lower the number of legal immigrant applications, which means legal immigrants will be effectively moved to the back of the line.

But that’s not the worst part.

Once obtained, these visas become the first step on a pathway to citizenship, which means that years down the road, 1.8 million illegals—probably more—will have jumped the line to US citizenship ahead of legal immigrants, despite the rhetoric from Trump and the GOP claiming otherwise.

Though this proposal may or may not pass, making DACA permanent and creating a pathway to citizenship are broken promises. But as I wrote a few days ago, breaking promises has become a job requirement in the age of Trump and today’s GOP.

‘Breastfeeding’ illegal alien Maria Domingo-Garcia charged with identity fraud

Breastfeeding illegal alien Maria Domingo-Garcia charged with identity fraud

An illegal immigrant arrested in an early August ICE raid made national news this week when her lawyers claimed she was nursing mother who needed to breastfeed her 4-month-old daughter. But her claims have been contested by ICE as medical examinations show she is not lactating and she answered “no” when initially asked if she was breastfeeding. The narrative was created after the fact, according to ICE, and progressive legacy media pounced on it.

But Maria Domingo-Garcia’s situation is getting worse. She has now been charged with identity fraud stemming from willfully using someone else’s social security number to create a false identity. She is now in the custody of U.S. Marshals while awaiting federal trial.

Legacy media coverage of this story has been shoddy at best. They’re heavily reporting the story from the lawyers for Domingo-Garcia and reporting it as rock-solid evidence. But they’re splashing cold water on statements from Homeland Security that show all indicators point to Domingo-Garcia lying in order to gain her freedom. Considering she (1) Entered the country illegally to begin with, (2) Lied about her identity to illegally acquire documents that allowed her to work, and (3) Didn’t make her claims about breastfeeding until long after she was apprehended, it’s a safer bet that she’s lying, not ICE.

This is all about building a pro-open-borders narrative, and it’s the reason NOQ Report needs help in fighting that narrative. Donations are used to provide and promote truthful pro-American content to the masses. We appreciate every dollar we receive.

As Domingo-Garcia’s lawyers press their story, her family has become the focus of media reports. It tugs on the heartstrings that this mother-of-three is separated from her husband and children, and it’s good that the community and their church have stepped up to help them. But the law is the law, and when you break the law, there are consequences for everyone involved. If identity fraud can be dismissed because the alleged criminal has a family, the law is meaningless.

As the saying goes, if you do the crime, you do the time. If Domingo-Garcia is found guilty of identity fraud, progressive media and Democrats will cry foul because of her family. Would they do the same for an American citizen committing identity fraud?

Illegal alien Kevin Mendoza charged with 1st degree rape in Maryland sanctuary county

Illegal alien Kevin Mendoza charged with 1st degree rape in Maryland sanctuary county

The ongoing fight by sanctuary jurisdictions to protect criminal illegal immigrants has claimed another victim. A young woman was brutally raped and severely beaten by an illegal alien while trying to enter her Silver Springs, MD, apartment complex.

This is the fourth such occurrence in the county in the last month. But as ICE continues to issue detainers for local law enforcement to release them to federal custody for deportation, the county continues allowing these vicious criminals out on the streets. The protection of criminal illegal immigrants supersedes the safety of American citizens in these sanctuary jurisdictions.

Kevin Mendoza, 26, has been charged with 1st degree rape and 2nd degree attempted murder. He is a former resident of the apartment complex where the victim lives.

The police statement tells of a gruesome crime allegedly committed by Mendoza. But even as heinous as this crime was, it’s unlikely law enforcement will be allowed by politicians to honor the detainer. If he is released on bond, he will almost certainly vanish into the wind, as happens so often in these cases where sanctuary jurisdictions release criminal illegal aliens.

According to Nate Madden at Conservative Review, this is becoming a trend across the country:

Yet another illegal alien charged with rape in notorious Maryland sanctuary county

Montgomery County was also the setting for the infamous Rockville rape case, in which a 14-year-old girl was allegedly brutally raped by two illegal immigrants in a public school bathroom. One of the accused was from Guatemala, the other from El Salvador.

This news also follows on the heels of a report last week from North Carolina, where ICE says that Mecklenburg County — which contains the city of Charlotte — release another illegal alien accused of first-degree rape despite an ICE detainer.

Out west last week, ICE arrested a 59-year-old Mexican national who had been convicted of “sex assault on a child” but given no jail time. The agency claims that Boulder County, Colorado, ignored its detainer requests in this case, just as they did for the same person in 2017, when he was arrested for aggravated assault.

Democrats must be made to acknowledge their sanctuary jurisdiction policies are harming American citizens AND the legal and illegal immigrant communities they say they’re protecting. It’s a failed experiment. Let’s end this madness now.

White House to change Flores Agreement, allowing longer detention of asylum seekers: Report

White House to change Flores Agreement allowing longer detention of asylum seekers Report

Update: It has been confirmed

Original Story:

The Flores Agreement has been arguably the biggest draw for asylum-seeking migrants who have created the border crisis in recent months. In the agreement, children may not be held in migrant facilities for longer than 20 days, which gives families a quick release into the United States interior as well as, in most cases, work permits.

According to a report by One America News correspondent Ryan James Girdusky, the White House will be unveiling changes Wednesday or Thursday this week. These changes will allow for longer detention of family units. This is important because asylum hearings never happen within the 20-day Flores period, forcing asylum seekers to be released before their claims are adjudicated. With 90% of asylum seekers not showing up for their hearings after they’re released, according to acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan, children have become essentially a free ticket to the United States interior.

Enacted in 1997 as an agreement to deal with the repercussions of a 1987 case, Flores v. Reno, it has been used as the standard by which illegal immigrants family units and unaccompanied minors are to be treated while in border patrol custody. It was intended as a humanitarian control to ensure children crossing the border illegally had proper facilities and care. Moreover, it established the protocols required to seek out the nearest relatives with which to place unaccompanied children.

In theory, the agreement was properly conceived and administered. But with the influx of migrants since last year who are conspicuously armed with knowledge of loopholes to help them circumvent our laws, calls have been made by conservative groups to reexamine the Flores Agreement. It was never meant to be the release loophole it has been turned into today. It was intended to protect children, but today it is putting them in more jeopardy as they’re being used as “tickets” for entry and release. Many are being “rented” or even sold to people in a “marketplace of children” at the border.

MS-13, the notorious transnational gang spreading extreme heinous violence across North and South America, is conspicuous in their use of children because of the current state of the Flores agreement.

MS-13 is spreading the word for members to cross the border with fake family units

Now that word is being spread for MS-13 gang members to grab kids and use them to cross the border, the left’s policies are being used to harm innocent children in Central America. The “compassion” of the left is doing so much harm to everyone involved… everyone other than the gang members they are graciously supporting with their policies.

Changing the Flores Agreement will have an immediate and substantial impact on the border crisis. Illegal immigrants will no longer be able to use children as “tickets” to get released into the interior. This is a spectacular move by the White House.
