Memorial Day – One way to pay respect to our fallen heroes

Published

on

Today, for many of us it is just another federal holiday. We get to spend time with our family and friends and enjoy a burger, dog, and a cold brew. For many families around the country, they will be celebrating the life of their loved ones that are no longer with them.

There are far too many families that have lost loved ones protecting our freedoms. Many of us don’t know a single person that has fought and died for our freedoms. Many of us don’t know the loved ones they left behind.

I know of children that will grow up barely remembering their father. Fathers and mothers, losing their only child. Wives, having to raise their children on their own.

We take for granted our freedoms, and we forget that our freedom was paid for by the blood of patriots. Memorial Day is not just another federal holiday. It is a celebration of life for those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Men and Women that willingly put themselves in harm’s way and left their families behind so that you could have Life, Liberty, and your Pursuit of Happiness.

One way I know of thanking these amazing men and women is by supporting Wreaths Across America. Every year, Team Bear raises hundreds of thousands of dollars to lay a wreath on the tombstone of one of our heroes during the Christmas holiday season.

As part of Team Bear, I have seen first hand the joy on the faces of the family members seeing thousands of people coming and paying respect to their loved one. Showing them, they are not forgotten, and we are grateful for their sacrifice and our freedoms as Americans.

Wreaths Across America is much more than just paying respect to our fallen, but also showing love and gratitude to the family they left behind.

This Memorial Day, I ask you to take the time and buy one wreath as a way to say thank you. Every year we fall short of placing a wreath on every tombstone around the country. Let this year be different. Let us come together and buy at least one wreath each and say thank you for their sacrifice.

It only cost $15.00, and you can donate to Team Bear at this link.

I would also encourage you not only to donate but go the Wreaths Across America and start your own fundraising team but volunteer at your closest military cemetery and see the difference $15 can do to the lives of our fallen heroes’ families.

2020 should be like the real 1984, but instead we’re getting the Orwellian version

2020 should be like the real 1984 but instead were getting the Orwellian version

Something amazing happened in 1984. Every state in the nation other than Minnesota recognized the prosperity and foreign relations prowess of President Ronald Reagan and rewarded him with the biggest landslide in American election history. Poor Walter Mondale didn’t have a chance against the killer economy, our growing strength against enemies, and pride Americans had in their nation and its leader.

We have the same formula brewing today. The economy is actually in better shape than it was under President Reagan. There may be no official Cold War, but we’re pressuring our enemies in Iran, Russia, China, and North Korea in ways that are in line with the pressure President Reagan exerted on the U.S.S.R.

But many Americans, particularly those who make up the radical progressives among Democrats, do not feel pride in their nation. Moreover, they feel nothing but contempt for our leader. Why is this? Shouldn’t everyone be working through our prosperity to engage in the unified patriotism that made the 1984 elections such a lopsided affair? To understand why this isn’t the case, read George Orwell’s 1984.

Go ahead. It’s short. I’ll wait.

The dystopian society that disregarded the truth in Orwell’s terrifying novel was missing one important component. He was detailing the world as it could be based on what he was seeing around him at the time. But he didn’t show us the bridge, the factors and conditions that connected his real world with the future society he envisioned. Instead, he left it mostly to our imagination to determine how a society could go from normal to extreme in such a relatively short period of time.

The bridge he left for us to imagine is no longer relegated to fiction. We’re seeing it in front of us right now. The path to doublethink and Newspeak is paved by those embracing the tenets of a post-truth society. We’re witnessing gender dysphoria being normalized to the point that one must accept the feelings of those experiencing it or we’re called bigots. We’re seeing the post-truth society blur the lines between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants, ignoring the fact that one group (of which I’m included) went through the proper legal process to enter and live in the country the right way while the other group did the exact opposite, disregarding our laws and stealing our sovereignty for themselves. The most troubling example of the post-truth society is watching Democrats and the media ignore the demonstrable prosperity President Trump and GOP policies have brought to minorities. It’s unprecedented how well minorities are fairing in this economy and with the freedoms they’re enjoying, yet we’re being told that everyone on the right must be a racist.

These false narratives, being spread by “Fake News,” represent the greatest threat to the GOP’s election hopes. The desperation of the left that forces them to tell blatant lies would actually be comical if so many people weren’t buying into it all. Ask a Democrat if the President is racist, and many will say he is. Ask them for examples and all they have are lies like “Muslim bans” and “anti-immigrant” policies.

If we stay focused on presenting the truth to Americans, we can achieve what Reagan achieved in the landslide 1984 election. If the left’s lies prevail, we’ll be taking the first big step towards George Orwell’s vision of 1984 instead.

Fake news really is the greatest threat to Republicans in 2020

Fake news really is the greatest threat to Republicans in 2020

In case you’re new to America, here’s an important tip: The vast majority of mainstream media and every big tech company that controls the internet is actively working against President Trump and the Republican Party in hopes of stealing as many elections as possible for the Democrats. This is demonstrable. In some cases they’re engaged in achieving this goal unabashed. Usually, they’re doing it from the shadows while claiming all along to be unbiased.

They way they’re doing it is by wielding the very tool President Trump has warned us about since before his 2016 election. “Fake news” is being created and spread across the various media and social platforms like a plague determined to wreak havoc to America’s constitutional republic. They won’t admit this part of their goal, and to be fair I believe many of them don’t actually realize that’s what they’re doing. They’ve become so delusional due to Trump Derangement Syndrome that they’ve half-believe the lies they’re spreading.

By “half-believe,” they’re not completely stupid. But they extrapolate their biased conclusions through selectively seeing facts and translating them into justification for them to embellish, exclude facts, and even flat-out lie if that’s what it takes to make their point. For example, they don’t really believe the economy is bad, but they have to report that it’s getting bad because they convinced themselves following the 2016 election that President Trump would tank the economy. At first, they waited for it to happen. When it didn’t, they scratched their heads. When it started getting stronger, they didn’t take the logical step of determining the error in their original premise. Instead, they decided to dig deeper to find some shred of evidence to latch onto to keep their premise alive.

If you torture the numbers long enough, you can make them say anything. This is why they’re now in the process of saying the economic downturn they were predicting since the day after the 2016 election is finally going to happen.

The President was right about them all along. Now, he’s also correct in asserting that his own popularity as well as the strength of the GOP in the upcoming election would both be very high if it weren’t for a dishonest, biased media.

As I’ve noted multiple times recently, progressive media, which accounts for most of what people read in the internet or hear on television, is building the Democrats’ narrative. To be more accurate, they’re working with the Democrats to build the narrative together. That narrative can be broken down into three things:

  • Trump is a racist. The failure of the Russian collusion narrative was tangible. We watched news anchors wilt as their anointed savior, Robert Mueller, made a fool of himself on national television in front of Congress. Now, the media has latched onto the racism narrative because otherwise, they’d have to acknowledge the President was right. Nobody likes a racist except other racists, so the media wants everyone to see the President, his party, and their supporters as racists.
  • The economy is going to tank. A common propaganda technique used by the Nazis was to repeat a lie. If you do it over and over again, louder and louder every time, it becomes the accepted truth. Numbers don’t lie, but you can manipulate numbers to support a premise. That’s what the media and Democrats are doing now with the economy.
  • Democrats unite, Republicans divide. The “anti-fascists” of Antifa promote their message by being fascists. The racists in the Democratic Party keep the attention on Republicans by calling them racists. Those who demand unity, especially among Democratic candidates, are doing everything they can to divide us. In the post-truth society the radical progressives hope to build, they need the narrative to be opposite of reality.

We continue to fight fake news. We need help. Without the corporate backing progressive media has, we rely on our generous readers to help us get the truth out to the masses. If you can donate, we promise to fight harder for the truth every day.

Imagine more Americans seeing through the lies mainstream media is telling them. It’s achievable, but we need to keep pressing the truth. If the truth can prevail, 2020 will be a landslide victory for the GOP and President Trump.

Media isn’t reporting ‘bad economy’ – they’re hoping for it

Media isnt reporting on bad economy - theyre hoping for it

The direct narrative legacy media is painting regarding President Trump is blatant and unambiguous. They want you to not only believe he is a racist, but most Republican lawmakers are also racist and anyone supporting them must be a racist as well. That’s their front-facing message as they attempt to push the 2020 election to the Democrats. But there are many associated narratives they’re also trying to drive, and none of them is more despicable than what they’re trying to do to the economy.

As we noted before, perceptions are the most power tool in helping or hurting the economy. When people believe things are good, they buy more and help to make it good. That’s an oversimplification of the complex nature of market and economic trends, but it holds true.

From now until the 2020 election, conservatives can expect an onslaught of negative news reports about the economy. Some will point to signs the economy is about to collapse. Eventually, they’ll shift gears to demonstrate how the economy is in the process of collapsing. Then, they’ll describe ways in which the economy has already collapsed. The more people they can make believe it’s true, the more likely it is that it will become a reality.

My colleague characterized it as a self-fulfilling prophecy, and that’s not inaccurate, but I think the better way to understand it is to realize in the post-truth society radical progressives want to build, they need the economy to collapse. They need capitalism to collapse. This isn’t so much an attempt to create a self-fulfilling prophecy as it is a stepping stone to the end goal of Modern Monetary Theory. That, more than anything else they’re proposing, is the most dangerous because it enables everything else.

But we’re not quite there yet, and MMT deserves a much longer analysis. For now, let’s take a look at a sampling of the narrative progressive legacy media is driving right now. Here’s a snapshot of the Google News “top stories” regarding the economy:

Media Trump Economy

Keep in mind, this isn’t a search for “Trump economy” or “coming economic collapse” or any doom-and-gloom keywords. This is the “full coverage” of our current economic situation, delivered in proper propaganda format by Google News.

The reality is the economy is still humming. Jobs are not hard to find, driving up wages and reducing unemployment. The stock market is strong. The dollar is strong, and while this may be hurting in the trade war with China, it’s giving Americans unprecedented purchasing power.

Getting word of reality out to the masses is the challenge with such an onslaught negative press against the economy. This is one of the reasons it is so important that crowdfunded conservative news outlets like NOQ Report receive as many donations from patriots as possible. Doing so is essentially like giving directly to the Trump reelection campaign because he needs truths like these promoted to voters. People are more inclined to believe what others are saying about issues than politicians, which is why we strongly encourage giving generously to NOQ Report.

The more the left builds the narrative that the economy is bad, the more likely it is the economy will have a downturn before the election. They’re lying now in hopes their lies become reality. We must adhere to the truth that the economy is strong.
