United Socialist States of America may be closer than you think

USSA-Flag

When Bernie Sanders recently announced his Democratic-Socialist plan to give every American “who wants or needs one” a lifetime government job, it was seen by many as nothing more than the ramblings of a left of the left-wing loon, but as I pointed out in an article I wrote about the announcement, Bernie’s Marxist beliefs are gaining in popularity and a majority of millennials now reject capitalism.

Considering Bernie’s plan, I found it rather interesting to hear Hillary Clinton at the 2018 Shared Value Leadership Summit in New York City yesterday where she was interviewed about her 2016 presidential campaign. When the interviewer pointed out to Hillary that she was the only Democrat candidate who was asked if she believed in capitalism—because Bernie clearly didn’t—he also asked her if she felt that it hurt her campaign.

“Probably. It’s hard to know, but if you’re in the Iowa caucuses and 41 percent of Democrats are socialists or self-described socialists, and I’m asked are you a capitalist, and I say yes, but with appropriate regulation and appropriate accountability, that probably gets lost in the ‘oh my gosh, she’s a capitalist.’”

She was wrong of course because it didn’t cost her. Hillary won the Democrat nomination over Bernie, and she won the popular vote in the general election over Trump. However, she was right about the “socialists” part of her answer. And it’s not this lame attempt at blame shifting that I found the most interesting, it was the fact that Hillary said that being a capitalist is what cost her the presidency.

The Democrat party has indeed begun to align itself with the ideals of socialism. From calls to nationalize healthcare to repealing the Second Amendment, Democrats have embraced the ideals promoted by the likes of Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, and Chairman Mao—who murdered hundreds of millions of their own citizens to advance socialism and communism.

This metamorphosis of the Democrat party is troubling enough in its own, but it’s made worse by feckless big-government Republicans brandishing the word “conservative” to hide the fact that they are also socialists working in one accord with their Unibrow Party counterparts. Just like the Democrats, Republicans will advance any ideology necessary, including socialism, to save their cushy jobs

With a Blue Tsunami warning in effect for November, and with the GOP’s “party of no” approach to elections, America could be on the verge of witnessing the death of capitalism and the Constitution and the rise of the United Socialist States of America . . . possibly as early as 2020.

4 Retweets in an hour: Bill de Blasio’s campaign failed to materialize

4 Retweets in an hour Bill de Blasios campaign failed to launch

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio was supposed to make an impact on the Democratic presidential nominating process. At least that’s what a handful of pundits thought. But after a little buzz on his first day and a few jabs by the President, it appears de Blasio was nowhere near ready to run for president despite coming in much later than most in the field.

Last week, we noted how his YouTube channel had failed miserably. But that embarrassment was nothing compared to his attempts to play on Twitter, which happens to be the President’s favorite social media playground.

Bill Tweet

In case he keeps the Tweet up (he shouldn’t) and doesn’t attempt to artificially boost his numbers (he shouldn’t), I’ll put it here to see if it got any traction. Out of sheer embarrassment for him, I shared it and encouraged people to help him out. This is just too cringeworthy to watch unfold on its own.

Is Twitter important? There’s actually as much of a risk to candidates saying the wrong thing on Twitter as there is of them gaining support as a result. But between Trump’s epic use of Twitter in 2016 and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s use of the platform to shoot herself up to fame, candidates need to at least try to do well on the platform. Bill de Blasio is not doing well. That indicates two possibilities: either he and his team were ill-prepared to run for president or they’re not really running for president but rather running for a cabinet spot or something else in exchange for his help delivering the New York delegates to the eventual nominee.

Either option seems viable at this point.

One thing is certain: Bill de Blasio’s campaign for president should not be taken seriously by anyone. Democratic primary voters and Republican operatives need to all ignore him. He’s going nowhere in 2020.

Blue Collar Logic: How the left is acting like a villain who wants to be caught

Blue Collar Logic How the left is acting like a villain who wants to be caught

There are many ways to look at the unprecedented lurch to the left the Democratic Party has been experiencing over the last couple of years. Some, particularly the radical progressives leading the charge, see it as a natural evolution of ideas as their delicate sensibilities blossom. Establishment Democrats see them as a backlash against losing so inexplicably with Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election. Many Republicans don’t see much of a difference other than a more vocal expression of what they’ve held in their hearts for some time.

The folks over at Blue Collar Logic have a different take. They’re seeing the strange actions and hyper-leftist lurching by the Democrats as a transition into a criminal mindset. Whether consciously or subconsciously, they’re throwing out ideas that make very little sense even when compared to what they’ve said in the past. Like a criminal that wants to be caught, they’re leaving clues that they know what they’re doing and saying is wrong, but they feel compelled to do them anyway.

The clearest example to me is the notion that abortions can and should be a consideration even after an “unwanted” baby is born following a botched abortion. Even in the most evil levels of consciousness, there has to be a sense of wrongdoing in the way they’re describing the events as they can hypothetically happen based on what’s being proposed in some states today, but they continue down this road as if they’re unaffected by logic or compassion. The push for “women’s rights” has so superseded their thinking when it comes to abortion that the most extreme version of abortion must be the one that they embrace.

As we approach the 2020 election season, let’s keep a close eye on the rhetoric and radical policy proposals candidates are throwing out. Just because it’s on record doesn’t mean enough voters will hear them. We need their ideas to stick to them like evidence in a murder case.

Trump hits Biden on China connections

Trump hits Biden on China connections

One thing has been made clear by recent events as they pertain to China: They are dying for someone to beat President Trump next November. In many ways, they’re banking on it.

This should make every American, including Democrats, concerned because even more than Russia, China has the capabilities to get in and change the hearts and minds of Americans, hack the 2020 election, and set in motion events that will benefit them. We’re talking about a country with nearly unlimited resources when it comes to cyberwarfare and social engineering. If Russia was ever a real concern to Washington DC, China is the true 800-lb gorilla in the political influence room.

The President called out former Vice President Joe Biden for his and his family’s involvement in China. Speaking to Steve Hilton on the Fox News show, The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton, the President pointed to alarming facts about the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination.

The threat from China is far greater than that from Russia, both economically as well as geopolitically. They have been a stirring giant for years. For the 2020 election, their stirring may turn into game-changing action if we’re not watchful.
