Cristina Maza wrote a piece for Newsweek which more recently has proven that the publication has gone as far left as they can get.
A question for Maza: How is Trump co-opting Christmas? I think he is trying to push back on the leftist tribalism that progressives have been pushing on our nation for years, especially by previous President Barack Obama. The left wants to divide us by culture, pigmentation, faith etc. It’s what they do, and then they hope to ‘make the kill’ and conquer us with the almighty state in control of hearts, minds, bodies, and should the anti-christ truly come on the scene, our souls. Humanism to me is just a subsidiary of progressive socialist statism. Christmas may have pagan roots, but it is not just a holiday for the white man. Oh and this Kwanzaa holiday that happens post-Christmas. A creation of a deranged felon named Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga, but still a great race baiter that the progressives can use to their advantage to put us into their tribal camps.
Some of our greatest Chrismas standards have either been written, composed and/or performed by Jewish people. Irving Berlin could have written a song about having a snowy night on one of the eight nights of Chanukah. That did not happen and we got “White Christmas” out of him which Bing Crosby would popularize. We also have the song “God Bless America” which would be the signature of singer Kate Smith. Another Christmas standard from Berlin is “Happy Holiday” (in spite of Kay Thompson’s own “Holiday Season” which got integrated into a medley with ‘Holiday’ that Andy Williams popularized). Percy Faith was also Jewish, but around Christmas time you still hear his slamin’ arrangements of the carols “Joy To The World” and “Deck The Halls” on the radio along with his take on “We Need A Little Christmas” from the stage musical ‘Mame.’
Neil Diamond loves to perform and record Christmas music, and when he covered Adam Sandler’s “Chanukah Song,” Diamond also listed Jesus Christ as a Jew (FACT!!!), while Christ never got the nod in ANY of Sandler’s lists of Jews in the Showbiz. In spite of being the leftist radical Barbara Streisand is, to date she recorded two Christmas albums. Barry Manilow put out three Christmas albums and he is half Jewish and now openly gay. Johnny Mathis is gay but not Jewish, and we know he has become content on being a Christmas music singer.
So cut the provda about Donald Trump stealing Christmas. The Nazis spelling Christmas with an X is more believable.
The three words that best describe Maza if not Newsweek; “are as follows and I quote, Stink, Stank, Stunk!”
They are nothing but ‘Grinches’ in my book.
Many of Trump’s Christian supporters argue that the president is ending the so-called war on Christmas, which has been presented by evangelicals and Fox news anchors as a threat to America’s Christian culture. Trump supporters say Americans have become too politically correct when they wish people happy holidays, a neutral term that can be used for people who celebrate Hanukkah, Eid al-Adha or any other religious holiday that takes place around the same time as Christmas.
Heil Christmas? … The following is an actual headline, from Christmas Eve, at Newsweek: “How Trump and the Nazis stole Christmas to promote white nationalism.” The piece goes through how Donald Trump campaigned on returning to tradition, starting with “saying Merry Christmas again.” It then goes dark, quickly. Yes, returning to the tradition of unabashedly saying “Merry Christmas” is the same thing as the Nazi party using Christmas traditions. Newsweek used to be a milquetoast weekly news magazine like Time. Yes, it had a bias — everybody does, and anyone who says otherwise is lying — but this is something completely different. And it isn’t just this piece.
