On Friday, editor-in-chief JD Rucker said Marco Rubio was holding out for child tax credits to build up his resume for a future presidential run. On the same day, Rush Limbaugh said Rubio was just trying to get attention. Seems like Rubio’s push, which got him the changes he needed in order to vote for the bill, didn’t have motives that were as hard to discern as the Florida Senator hoped.
Here’s what Limbaugh had to say about Rubio on his Friday show:
“It’s just an opportunity now to have attention called to himself, particularly caring about poor kids. I’m not being critical. I’m telling you how this works.”

Robert Bork had a story about watching the Clarence Thomas, Anita Hill hearings at the faculty lounge at Yale. And there was a colleague of his in there, a friend, people think it might have been Irving Kristol, but it doesn’t matter who it was. So Bork is sitting there watching the Clarence Thomas, Anita Hill hearings, and a guy walks up to him, “What do you think you’re looking at, Judge? What are you are witnessing here?”
