His reaction to the second loss Alabama has delivered to someone he endorsed was the most presidential he’s ever sounded on Twitter when faced with adversity. He didn’t blame fake news. He didn’t attack the Democrats other than a competitive threat of the challenge they’ll have keeping the seat after 2020. He was… an adult.
Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!

Look, I’ve been critical of the President since before he became the leader of the free world, but I think I’ve been fair in pointing out when he does the right thing. This is one of those circumstances.
