Congress has two weeks to come up with a spending bill. The President signed a resolution today providing FY18 appropriations to fund the government until the Friday before Christmas.

The move isn’t a surprise, but it calls into question the resolve a everyone involved as they’ve all mentioned a shutdown at some point. Were they all bluffing, or is this temporary delay something to buy a little more time? Will the Christmas present America receives from DC be a government shutdown? We’ll find out in two weeks.
