The long-awaited court case is here: the baker of faith Jack Phillips vs. the once newlywed gay couple Charlie Craig and David Mullins with the muscle of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission. If the court rules in favor of Craig/Mullins & and the Commission liberty lovers, please start listening to people like me for once and stop cultishly voting Republican. The courts have been proven to be worthless in pushing back against the ideals of Free Love aka the Sexual Revolution (including the push for abortion on demand).
This in spite of all and sexual scandals that have come down recently. All because they wanted to take out a judge who stands by God’s Law.
Stay tuned to NOQ Report for any followup piece on this case of Religious Freedom vs. Sexual Liberation. This post also includes Phillips own words on why he will not do Same-Sex Wedding Cakes.
We don’t have to agree on questions of sexual morality. But what we should be able to agree on is our freedom, to live out our most important ideals.
What I didn’t say was that I wouldn’t sell them a cake.
I’m happy to sell a cake to anyone, whatever his or her sexual identity. People should be free to make their own moral choices. I don’t have to agree with them.
The day has arrived for Colorado Christian baker Jack Phillips, whose case will finally be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday after he was punished by the state for refusing to serve the wedding of Charlie Craig and David Mullins.
The high court will hear oral arguments in the case of Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, a case that could go a long way in determining the limit of Christian wedding vendors’ First Amendment protections.
